Most Asian countries take their footwear off before entering a dwelling/house for cleanliness/health/hygiene purposes. Just imagine where you been with your foot wear…in the public bathrooms, sidewalk, dirt, dog park and places where you don’t want to think what could be on the ground. To have that footwear on walking around in the house is filthy. 😮
In Philippines I think LTO don’t give written and driving test they just issue you a driver license also when get citation of violation they don’t send you to traffic school that is why Filipino drivers don’t observe and respect traffic lights and rules. It’s like first come first serve if you quick in cutting in front you’ll get in line ahead they don’t care if they hit your car as long as he get in front of you
