The aftermath of Romo, Dez, EzE, TP, TStelle and MGallup resulted in on-field liabilities. JLewis was par for course. The only exception was Dak, who managed to play "better" post-injury than he played pre-injury. And all have public relations folk putting out videos saying "they're ahead of schedule" and end up underperforming expectations.

He's doing athletic work not bodybuilding work. Because he's an athlete not a bodybuilder. That first exercise is an excellent movement that works the posterior chain while conditioning the body to hinge at the hips dynamically as opposed to a more static movement like Romanian Deadlifts.
