It hits different when you realise bardock is the reason dragonball exists
He deserves more in Dragon Ball for real. He is the only reason DB exists so your right. I wish there will one day be a time in the story where he is brought back to do something incredible.

I love that they kept Bardock's rebellion in the new movie. They didn't have to but the fact that they did makes me happy.
They definitely had to, that scene of him rebelling and confronting Frieza was one of the iconic DB scenes, it would've bugged everyone not to have it in this.

It's letting them know you won't go quietly into the night.
If everyone dies, but yet no one fights back, they are not remembered.

A man who quoted, "I've been destroying things my whole life, it's about time I saved something" didn't realize exactly what he saved. By sending Kakarot off to Earth, he may have saved one planet. Then, he saved a solar system. He gained respect from multiple galaxies, as well as a universe. He even became noticed and respected by multiple timelines, and eventually came to be respected by all. Bardock was all the reason this happened at all. Without him, Dragon Ball would've never existed. Well, in the way that it did.
Edit: Also, great job recreating this! For me, it's a motivational song. It calms me down and makes me feel way more confident. Even feels like it makes me more powerful, too.

All the emotions are running wild then the first beat drops as the person let's go unleashing their hidden power within. The power didn't come from happiness, sadly came from a tragic lost and was pushed too far to achieve this kind of power.
Second beat drop, they finally at full power and have accepted their true density. Becoming the hero they need to be. It's more bittersweet.

And because of Bardocks actions his son went on to defeat Frieza, go through multiple timelines, struggles, saved his planet, fought gods, became the first Super Saiyan, helped save his universe, defeated foes who surpassed Frieza with unimaginable power if Bardock ever came back to life even for a day I know he would be proud of his son who was seen as a neglected lower class warrior by the Saiyan Elites Bardock would be proud of Kakarot and this I know....
Bardocks plot armour broke one second before he got eradicated.
That plot armour, then enabled his sons plot armour.

I am happy they put more thought into this movie making it promising like it was in the trailers.
I watched this for the first time and like always, I didn't feel much because you know, it's dragon Ball. These things happen all the time.
But then I watched it after I found out my wife was pregnant. Seeing them send Goku off, and watching bardock give his all to try and save everyone...it hit different. So much harder and emotional, and I didn't know why. Listening to this again, when he's due in a few days, it still hits just the same. He's not even here yet, yet I would already give him the world, and give everything to keep him safe. I guess that's how bardock felt too. Hadn't even known Goku for long, but gave everything up for him. What it means to be a dad I guess.

@@marshal8358 The Full Force Kamehameha OST began to play during the iconic power up sequence after Gogeta bodied Broly with a Stardust Breaker. And yeah, Broly Begins to Fight is amazing.
@@dazaiel8081 This movie is just perfect in every way!!! It didn't dissapoint me at all. The "Broly vs Gogeta" theme was epic too (the elements of "Blizzard" made it so much better) and "Broly's Rage and Sorrow" is so damn epic.

Beautiful song. This scene however always bothers me. There's just something missing. I strongly believe they should've added a brief moment in which Bardock's energy ball resisted Frieza's power, just for a few seconds. It would've hinted that iconic Saiyan trait of inner power when against impossible odds. They could've shown Frieza's face when he realizes that something is resisting his power, just to have him add some more to overcome this obstacle. The fact that Bardock was destroyed without Frieza even noticing just doesn't feel right, there's a reason Frieza feared the Saiyans and we didn't get to see that here.

I remember seeing DBS Broly in theaters. Seeing that one and only Saiyan making his last against the ultimate evil in the world, not knowing the chain of events he helped support; was truly the most heartbreaking thing.
