It reminds me of my childhood,my mom didn't have two jobs or was mayor but it was very hectic,when I was 2-4 I think I was in a daycare,she was pretty stressed every day and she fell asleep,she started having back problems and she would snap but she is still amazing and she's getting less stressed these days:)

There are different levels of poverty.
This is poor in comparison to her old status
what she means by poor is that affording food is difficult and she needs to work multiple minimum wage jobs to feed her child.
Poor is a mindset.
Broke is not having enough money.
Concept: You go out of town to find a news reporter and share your story and it goes on the news! You upload a video on youtube about the situation and that goes viral 😱 So many people are inviting you to tv shows to talk about this. It reaches your home town and people are really ashamed- They try to make you their mayor again BUT you refuse! You become a lawyer to help people like you so that they can defend their selves and don't go through the same stuff you did 😍 You legally adopt Clover + Set up an orphanage and good foster care system 🤗

A concept maybe you would like: Sometime later the people in the town understood and feel sorry because you weren't treated correctly and found out that you're daughter sneaked off and you didnt noticed, so they accept you back in the job because they can't find other mayor's and you were the perfect mayor besides the club stuff.

(And can the judge have some jail time? 😎) Then your new assistant is the daycare lady! She's also your bff now 🤩 AND you legally adopt Clover! Also everyone is "sorry" but let's give them what they deserve and keep them on tenterhooks for a couple months before you forgive them 😈 You improve working conditions for the cafe and do something good for the hospital cause they treated you humanely 😋 And can we do smt horrible to the judge PWEEEESE?
