Hi ! I m hesitating between a strike v2 and a swing V2 in 5 m, i want to buy one for the very light wind (my weight is 60 kilos) ? Do you know the différences between these two wings ? Thx

Hi Tucker. I own the Strike V2 5.5. Now I would like to add a smaller size. What makes more sense in your opinion for a 2nd wing: Strike V2 4.5 or 4.0? I am 69kg in weight. Thanks for your expert advice (and sorry for the "late" question).

I find a 5.5m, 4.5m combo is ideal for smooth gradient of power across the range. You can do a 4m as well but you'll have a bit of wind range where you are under or over powered. -Tucker

@@MACkiteboarding Thanks a lot. You have confirmed what I was thinking. Apart from that: V3 is tempting, but V2 is so budget friendly at the moment.

I see you are riding the appletree jazz ... which size is that? are you planning a review?

I'm on the 4'8, 62L. Yes, I'll post a review in a few weeks and a comparison to the Appleslice. Really like them both. I find the Appleslice is most versatile and best for jumping. The Jazz is great for jumping when well powered and surf. It's not great in lighter winds given its shorter shape and narrower tail. -Tucker

Hi Mc how to differentiate V1 from V2 when you want to buy a second hand CWC ? Something like an inprint on the leading edge where the year features in ? One wants to avoid paying year N and receiving year N-1

Hi Gillou, There has only been a V1 of the CWC since a V2 hasn't been released yet. We'd anticipate that sometime in 2023 but don't have any info yet. They have had a few colors through different production runs so the easiest way to know how old a wing is would be the color or a shop receipt. -Tucker

@@MACkiteboarding Thanks Mc ! I've just bought one second hand cwc 7 today with 2022 color and receipt, but some colors are the same from one year to another and receipts can be forged. So no proof is printed on the wing ? Apart from that, do you think the cwc V1 goes so so upwind like does the strike V1 as you mention in your vid ?

Hi Tucker. I've just get new stuff for the season: a Fanatic 5.0 75 lts and a Strike V2 5.0m. I'm 80 kg...and now I'm thinking to complete my rig with a smaller wing for strong wind days. With the bigger wind range of this strike V2, do you think it's better for me a V2 3,5 or a 4m? Thanks

I find the 4m works best with the 5m if you want good consistant power throughout your quiver. You could go 5m, 3.5m, but you'll probably be hanging on for dear life on the 5m by the time you are ready to grab the 3.5m.
