I'm surprised that Dav could put an abusive father in a kids book, but then I remember Warriors ☠. Still an amazing series and character development, though. I love Dog Man, and can't wait for the movie to come out! 😁
Petey isnt a complete villain. He always gets softer after EVERY battle, and and sometimes he forgets he is a “villain” and acts/is very nice. The last book shocked me. (Spoilers) Petey was friends with the rest and they never fought ever again, that’s why it’s the last book.. (mothering heights)
I love how in the book lord of the fleas it’s cute to see when little Petey says the joke but his papa or whatever explains to him how it works instead of yelling and shoes how much he cares about him when he and piggy have a talk and says DONT TALK ABOUT MY SON THAT WAY😡
