Can anyone tell me the weight limit for the Cannondale Bad Boy 1? I'm about 275 pounds, is that OK on this bike? LOL, the Lefty Fork has me worried. I've been looking everywhere but can't find any info. THANKS!!!
Honestly, at some point it gets very very squeaky. I guess it's mostly due to the bottom bracket, but also it is the internal gearhub and front wheel. Not a nice thing. When I went to the local bike shop they recommended to change the bearings on the front and changed the bottom bracket.
currently on urb8.9, more of a commuter than this canondale. Where do you mount the front mudguard? Didnt see any mounting holes for rear rack either on their website. Style over function this one and more than twice the price of my bike.
Awesome bike can't wait to get this season edition! Thanks for the review.
might get this, always rode cannondale, miss the pennsylvania plant
Hey, it's Vlad Pitt!
Hey there
Can that front light be stole?
Unfortunately yes, I have to take it out every time I park the bike

This bike has a total weight capacity of 330 pounds (300 pound rider weight and 30 pound luggage weight).
Is it possible to fit some mudguards for commuting in bad weather
Personally, I ride without mudguards.
I heard some Bad boy owners fit SKS mudguards with the Lefty quick release adaptor
I have a cannondale bad boy 2 .but the fork doesn't light up all the way .help anyone
get Cannondale bad boy 1 :) If you have a bulb on your bike, don't forget to charge it ;)
Are the internal gears useful for climbing steep slopes?
They definitely are useful for climbing. And there is a rather wide range of them!
I can't believe it came with the Alfine 8 instead of the 11! How is it going up steep hills? Thanks for the video!
It actually does surprisingly well. I actually enjoy the simplicity of only having 8 gears
8 gears are more than enough
Great review thanks for posting! I was thinking of getting one of these but I have a question. Have you tried riding single track on it?
I tried. It is sometimes a bit rough. Though feels much more stable than riding it on a gravel bike.
@@belarusianrovar2265 thank you, enjoy the bike!
I read an artical about the bad boy 1 beginning to squeak after mild use. Any truth to that on your end?

My bike mechanic said that basically on bikes with internal gearhub bottom brackets tend to wear out faster than on normal bikes

You are right. Bad boy 1 is quite overpriced for a commuter bike. And there are no mounts for mudgurards in the front
Great reaction. What size is it please? M or L? I'm 5"11 and was told to get L but I'm more for the M. What's your opinion thanks.
I am 6" and I got L.
In your case it's between M and L. I would recommend to get L.
Yes get L , you should be tiptoeing when sitting on the bike which is your ideal bike height.
All that money and they can't run the cables through the bars?
Indeed, they could have done better
Glad I seen this thought I been robbed
Yes excellent bike.
