The good thing about these old Kubotas is that you can still easily find replacement parts.

I have a G1800 i use as my main mower with a 48 inch deck. These really are a beautiful machine that works well. My engine and hyrdo unit have been rock solid, im sure yours will be too. Hope things go well for you!

I’m having a hard time finding a diagram or pictures of the springs for the PTO engagement tensioner. I went to replace belts and only see one spring. But I think there is one missing. I don’t know how it connect though

Please note that the driveshaft has a splined slip joint. It has a grease joint that failed on my tractor because I didn't know it was there and never greased it. I have a metal lathe and made a new driveshaft without the slip joint, which means that to replace the fan belt I will have to remove the driveshaft, while in your case you can just slip the front part back far enough to easily service the belt. Mine also has 4 wheel steering which makes it almost a zero turn, but not quite. They are very good machines!

Straight pipes. Knobby tires. Tuned injector pump. Sharpened blades. Then you’ll be doing law care instead of solar 😅

This is NOT a lawn tractor. It’s a GARDEN tractor, hence the model G1800.

Seems like people use Lawn Tractor and Garden Tractor interchangeably for these. I’m thinking no one will get confused as to which model I’m referring to though.
