This company does excellent work., and a pleasure to watch.
However, the only criticisim I can see is why the "Bosch " name plates on the pump were not protected when the casing was shot blasted.
I would of thought a temperary stainless plate could of been placed over the plates with a temporary glue, when shotblasting.

Thank you for your kind words. We always protect every part that needs to be protected as good as we can. This could be difficult though as we are dealing with 50-60 years old engine parts.

Excellent work, nice video, every how many kilometers should a restoration be done to the injection pump?

To our best knowledge, there is no such interval for the injection pump. Until it works correctly, don't touch it.

@@motorclassichungary Thanks for your response. If I imagine it, mostly when they are damaged it is because the car has been stopped for a long time without running.

I have a question. Where do they tend to leak fuel into oil. I found couple of liters of fuel in engine, i had test tank hanging above engine, and its only place that it could hapen, witch seal separate fuel from oil, thanks .👌

Thank you for your question! When dealing with fuel injection systems like the one in the W113, fuel leaks into the engine oil can be caused by several factors. One common culprit is the injector seals or o-rings deteriorating over time, allowing fuel to seep into the engine crankcase. Additionally, issues with the fuel pump seals or the fuel pressure regulator can also lead to fuel leaking into the oil. Given the complexities of vintage fuel injection systems, we recommend consulting with a knowledgeable mechanic or specialist in your area who can conduct a thorough inspection to pinpoint the exact source of the leak and provide appropriate solutions.
