Priscilla Poynton, (c.1740-1801) ‘The Blind Poetess of Lichfield’

A short introduction to Priscilla Poynton, later Pickering, a poetess from Lichfield who lost her sight at an early age. Her two volumes of poetry are held in the Cadbury Research Library at the University of Birmingham.
