Hays Inlet in April is generally a good time for sand whiting fishing. In this video I show you the rigs, gear, and bait I use to catch these tasty little morsels. The action wasn’t as good as it has been in the past years. This may be due to the amount of rain we’ve had over the last month - FLOODS. But we still end up catching a few so check it out.

Hi can you catch whiting in the channel in hays inlet or do you have to go into the shallower flats?
