    If you're going to be in the area for a while, you should head west about an hour to Gardner State Park or north east to Canyon Lake. These are two of the most beautiful places you can visit in Texas.

    I am a natural born Texan living in Kansas now but I have a special love for Texas!! I lived in San Antonio for 3 years & it is great there. If you come back through there on the weekends they have a little Mexico celebration every weekend but this may have changed since I lived there. Tex-Mexican food & many vendors for Mexican wear, hats & etc. By the way, some of your friendliest people are Texans. We are raised there to be friendly & chat in long waiting lines too. Enjoy Texas!!!! Austin is wonderful!! I lived close to there for 13+ years. Austin is fun fun fun!!!!! Go to Austin City Limits & have a blast or many other continuous weekend events. Hope you had a chance to read this. hugs!!

    I'm a strong Traditional Roman Catholic woman. Thank you so much for showing me the Cathedral. Too bad we can't see the inside. One of my dreams is to go see all the Cathedrals in America, then in the world before they're destroyed by time and by man. Remember to say Saint Michael's prayer daily. God bless, Agnes Rome.

    Propane is less common in the warmer states where most houses are 100% electric (heating, cooling, cooking). Portable propane tanks are still used for grills but generally most houses don't use propane, particularly in Florida where it's nearly impossible to bury a tank due to the water table being so high.

    Eric, your very lucky. We were there in the summer, the place was packed with kids and families. Now, I don't mind kids and families but there were so many people you just couldn't get a good view of the place banging into each other to get thru the hallways and all. It is a nice historic place and the river parade is great if you happen to be there when its going on. Good video, thanks!

    It's really good to see that you're posting more frequently, and that your postings are more up-to-date. I've always enjoyed your video packages, and I like them even more, now that your tone is more upbeat and you just seem like you're enjoying the ride more (and enjoying your online success). Those of us who have RVs and can't do what you're doing can live vicariously through your adventures and tribulations and, whatever controversy and jealousies may arise from your detractors, your video packages are much appreciated!.

    I've been to the Alamo several times in my life. It's hard to describe the feeling you get when you walk around the premises. There is a deep feeling of reverence. The Ace hardware stores sell propane all around where I live in the Houston area. There is a camping world in New Braunfels. I suspect they would have propane. New Braunfels is a picturesque place of it's own to see, especially in the warmer months.

    So happy to see things are back to normal. Hope the trolls don't mess with you again. By the way, how many miles per gallon are you getting with the new RV. With low gas prices it is a great time to be on the road, but not up North here with all the snow. Best to you and Jax.

    For propane in Texas look for U-Haul stores, not the local franchisees that are really just storage places with a few trailers, but the big ones with everything imaginable. They have always had propane in my experience. Also, grab the Allstays RV app.

  • @realredrebel
    @realredrebel 8 лет назад +3

    Really nice to see comments again. I think keeping comments open probably results in more videos views, as people do come back to previously-watched videos to follow conversations in the comment section (and not everyone will pause or stop the video each time they check back, which means your video accrues more "watch time" credit).
