Modern Warfare 3 Zombies Season 3 Reveal. In Season 3, An unknown force of disturbing power has its psychic tendrils wrapped tightly around Dr. Ava Jansen. The doctor has been lured unto a new region of the Dark Aether under this malignant influence. Strike Teams from Operation Deadbolt have converged to assist Sergei Ravenov as he attempts to locate and rescue Dr. Jansen from the unknown. Your expertise surviving and escaping the Dark Aether is required. The time has come to explore a new part of the Dark Aether, and rescue Dr. Jansen, and readying up for another Dark Aether Gate hunt. This third Dark Aether Rift is just as ornery as past two; expect a series of unlock objectives focusing on finding and attuning several relics, allowing access through the Gate. Accomplish these tasks to step into the ethereal voidscape and face the terrifying horrors lurking within, claiming valuable rewards if you survive. Squad up and help Operation Deadbolt continue to contain the onslaught of the undead. They really need to decrease cool down times, grinding out for items you can only use once every 2 or 3 days is just ridiculous.

I agree. You are fighting AI zombies there is no advantage of using Pack a punch lv 3 against zombies so there is no reason for that long of a cool down on any schematic. Now if they implement PVP then I would say yes to the 2-3 day cool down. Once you beat the worms there really isn't any point in playing. You will aquire the schematics that you already have.
@@jordanjenks2369 -I hear you, Tombstone is what I do, but for gamers to grind days, weeks and even months for certain schematics, then FINALLY get and use it on let’s say Saturday, but have to wait until Monday or Tuesday to use it again is insane.
If you get really good at the game man its not hard to grind anything you want. The hard part for me is grinding and gettint my goodies just to be kicked from the game or to have a server failure bs.
They find a new way to hit the bare minimum every update, this is sad

they need to make mwz have less content so they didnt have to add so many content on the next zombie game, like for a score example they making mwz a tier "C" game mode with few content so they can easily making "C+" zombie game mode next year and people gonnna cheer them up saying "omg this so much more content than the last zombies game mode"
Yes, and Activision saw that and said: wait, free to play mode with decent support? Oh hell naw, let's charge for the 3o mode and leave it with below minimum support, people already payed for it
Sad, very sad. DMZ and MWZ had a lot of potential, but cod games shouldnt last for more than a year otherwise people wouldn't buy the next one. We will never had a decent game again because they want to sell the next one
@@Rafstrike_e ikr, if they want, they can make dmz or zombie own game, f2p or pay the game once and just keep update the game each year with more content im sure many people gonna play it. But No, Activision prefer quick money from new game every year, because sadly enough, no matter how shitty the game is, every year, every new call of duty franchise reach top sales in the market

I dont even bother buying the batlepass anymore cause there isnt enough content for me to play and finish it. Only reason i finished the first one was camo grinding

I'm not even an og player (from the often-mentioned golden days of cod back in MW2, BO2, etc) and even I think Activision has gotten downright pathetic in recent years...

Is this what we’re getting for now? Just new story mission, schematics, rifts, and warlords.? Really sad to see Treyarch made this mode for nothing.

@@CalixtoGarciaIniguez1898I mean Treyarc simply allowing SHG to use their IP’s like perk machines, PAP, and the mystery box was nice enough, then stepping in to actually help was more than enough, considering they are trying to work on Gulf war this year which has been in development for 4 years, And 3arc also had to make the ranked play for Mw3… infinity ward and SHG usually get 3arc to deal with all the ranked stuff cause they ain’t got a clue, 3arc do a lot behind the scenes even when it’s not their title

Highly disappointed! The fact that outbreak had way more content as a side mode vs a main zombies mode is crazy 😒
I am very disappointed, because there is no endgame missions or targets... I mean Round based Zombies has the target to survive as many turns as possible, but in MW3 you Go in a game for 45 minutes and you are forced to quit... I mean, OK, the 45 minutes are ok, but it would be nice for the people WHO wanna Play longer, that there could be a possibility to jump to another map for 45 minutes and you have to do contracts there Like in Cold War.
Every time it I Play with randoms we start preperation and then when it gets interesting we are forced to exfill. And because I Always get knew Lobbys, the cycle repeats💀🤮
@@-jc8578 yes. They could do another Mode called endless. There could be the map jumping that I mentioned. I would Love to have two other maps, a new Tier class (Tier 6), when Map hopping, the first Zone could be Tier 2+, second Zone 3+ and third zone could be 4+ (Dark Aether Zone like).
They should make a mode more like gta with larger map where you can exfil when you want rather than timer. They could also add options for a 1 hr, 2 hr, 3 hr match etc. Rather than just 45 min for ppl who want to play longer. They should also add hordes of zombies running around all tiers, there are not enough zombies.
I'm excited I just unlocked both dark aether and I finally got used to the pace of tier 3

I see the deadwire schematic being really useful with decoys where it not only attracts their attention but also damages them in the process. It would push the decoy more in the direction of a cymbal monkey without having to actually equip one. I'm not though hyped that its deadwire, because it would do that annoy ish where the animation on deaths not only takes up space on the screen but also make you auto aim on a dead target.
So the deadwire detonator is literally just an ammo mod for launchers🙃

Honestly they need to fix the cooldowns on the items there should be no reason why I should wait 2 days just to use golden armor again
If you take a week long break you can use it three games in a row.
Not saying that's good, just saying it's an option.
@nateghast6456 maybe if you're popping on an crafting when it's ready, it doesn't stack though. So a week break, still only nets you one use.
Idk why you guys still cry about this I go to t5 every game and get more golden plates, aether blades, and dog bones almost every game

I think they should make where if you exfil with the schematic it makes the cooldwn timer go away or decrease

The barret will be pretty useful if it works on the warlords because it’s a guarantee wonder weapon. The only issue is still you don’t know which one you will get.
Got borealis and all schematics and just gave up on this game. Now it’s time to go back to bo3 and bo4 zombies.
I can’t even play with these online servers it searches for 150+ ping after 4pm for me so stupid this online bs
More missions I would enjoy. giving us unlock-able operator skins, vehicle skins, and other stuff. Outbreak had additional Easter eggs with each season would be cool.
Not sure if anyone noticed but it seems Keres and Rainmaker both carry the Konni logo on their uniforms while Legacy and Dokabei just carry the Terminous logo on their’s. I’m thinking the zombies research in the Urzikstan bunker and the laboratory under Fortunes Keep is why zombies is involved in the MW3 post launch story for Warzone. Konni or let alone Makorov wouldn’t have even known about zombies or atherium at all unless a few of Konni’s best troops were hired by Fletcher to help Terminous forces at that point in time. Whether it meant extracting atherium from Urzikstan or conducting experiments with it (like we hear in Keres audio log), this is really the only theory I have for how Konni knows about the zombies.
Who was the warlord in the tiny building that had gas trip mines and trophy systems? Not the huge warehouse fortress but it was a smaller building…. I only found him 1 time during my play through and haven’t seen that fortress since then…

They got their money by hyping this mode. Now just bare minimum. Apart from the main EE there is nothing more to be excited..😢
I called it before s2 dropped that MW3 is chalked. I think we would all be happy if they even let us do the same missions over again just to have a reason to play.

The best part of the game is essentially being thrown into the bin now. It's so frustrating. Not even a new wonder weapon is just stupid. How hard is it to at least bring back the Thundergun or the Blundergat? Hell bring back the Apothican Servant for shits and giggles. I know there were loads of layoffs and Treyarch are fully working on the next game, but not even bringing back an old wonder weapon is the height of laziness.
The only interesting about the new warlord is that their mask looks like a Valkyrie drone from Gorod
Kind of over the rifts rather have a new main map to spend my 45 minutes on rather then 10 minutes ina rift
treyarch better have content every half of every season next year, because this is the 2nd time they basically hyped up the community and left us hanging, and I keep convincing my self that next year will be better but really will it? im starting to think otherwise
I’m grateful we at least get some sort of update. Obviously it’s not what we wanted. I just hope Treyarch gives as much love to the new game like how Infinity Ward does with the MP and Warzone side of the game.
Same as they did with DMZ then wind it down with naff updates. Could have at least thrown in some old DMZ maps Akisha and Koshie with zombies!
maybe have them each drop one of the new weapons when killed for each season like the mors bal 27 etc so players can have a chance to exfil with it cause right now theres no way to get the weapons unless you know someone with them already and can drop them for you or you own the battlepass
Well a bunch of the weapons got nerfed again..... the headshot multiplier on the MCW went from 3x to 1.2x..... making it feel underwhelming now against contract bosses....

Golden Mask would allow you to do the Redworm and then make your way to the Dark Aether Rift. Just rotate the Mask and Scorcher.
I can open the second aether ruft only in the first Week. No fix until today. So ... i have something to do from this season.
they should just reintroduce the elemental staphs and the elemental bows. those where always fan favorites
The only way i think the new golden mask might be helpful, is if they put easter eggs in the gas maybe 🤔
The higher the number of schematics, the lower the chance of getting what we are really interested in: gold armor, ammo, legendary key, pap3!
Larger stash, a wallet, lower cooldown times.

The player count for Zombies mode dropped when season 2 released. Some people do play because there is nothing else to play right now. It’s something they put up with till something better releases. Infinityward is not listening to its players so, the players are responding by not playing zombies anymore. Crafting cooldown needs to be eliminated and the currency you exfil with will be used to craft items without having to wait 3 days to craft a Pack a Punch III. They only care about micro transactions. So, if infinityward don’t care why should the players care? At this point they’re adding anything randomly to zombies so that it can look relevant, but not feel if that makes sense. Anyway I said enough, you get the point ✌️
We need more than just new aether rift with schematics and one singular story mission tied to it. We need more features and an expansion to already existing features. For example, we are still missing some essential and iconic zombies perks, primarily double tap and mule kick. As for new features, i think it would be cool if they implemented gobblegums to the game. Im hoping they wont just nerf everything good like they have been doing. Its gonna get to the point where the game will be unplayable because all of the guns shoot gumdrops at the zombies.

Honestly what's the point of all the new schematics if no new enemy or boss will ever be added in the game.
Golden armor, aether blade and dog bone are already completly broken and easy to obtain. If only they could just make the future aether rift a real fun challenge at least but surely not.
Right now tier 3 is dead easy and there's no point to play the game anymore. sad.
What I wish they would do is add items that are very rare to find , there is no schematic for it and you only find it by doing tasks and it’s random , as at the momment the lag , the Containment level randomly resetting and the game crashing and losing everything is annoying , they should fix this before anything
Honestly I'm not really surprised, it seems this is going to be the rest of MW3 Zombies, just new DA with new schematics, a new warlord and new puzzles to unlock the new DA. I really thought they would do more with this version of zombies.
Lower cooldown is here! It’s based on essence exfiled with. The more essence you exfil with the faster your items cooldown.

The beret could function be like a dog. So instead of a 1-3 level dog, you could get a 1-3 level merc, who does the same things.
I prefer the dog.
I think at this point we're used to getting disappointed and have to get used to it. The containment levels are nice so hopefully, the wallet comes unannounced. If using the beret gets you into strongholds to kill the warlord, it'll be useful, otherwise no. Golden gas mask, meh, because it will probably take away your durable if you equip it so you'll have to get another one. New dead wire mod could be cool because launchers are never used aside from the RGL-80 so could be interesting. Last season only had 1 continually useful schematic, mags of holding. VR11 schematic is good but how many times do you wanna take out the red worm cause I see and use the schorcer way more. I agree it's a shame because there is so much potential in MWZ they've literally just thrown away.

Who else thinks that we should just go back to buying a Season Pass? I’m honestly not even happy about what’s been going on with CoD Zombies & as a whole also (including story & Multiplayer). We had a decent BO4 Season Pass with the items that they promised to players vs how we keep getting “Content updates”. I would rather go back to buying a pass at anytime
This seems like it will be worthless for most people. Maybe they should just take out the ability to play solo next. People who play in groups that already have every schematic will have something to do one time. Everyone else... you lose a day downloading the update and that is about it.
Season 1 was always meant to be better to keep us playing it seriously and I mean I seriously doubt we get something new that we actually like.I guarantee you all the Plates Blade and Bone was OP especially in the Beginning
