I listened to this song on my duke of ediburgh gold expedition up in scotland. We were walking down to our campsite on the first night, we found this amazing little island almost to camp on surrounded by lake with not too many rocks and a little cottage in the distance that a newly wedded groom and bride walked down to to get their photo taken infront of. I had brought a JBL clip speaker with me that I was playing songs on throughtout the whole expedition to keep us determined and motivated us to keep going and just as we started walking down to this little camp spot, it started to rain and then came the lightning, then the thunder and right on que this was the next song in the playlist. It was absolutely surreal and we listened to it like 3 or 4 more times until the thunder passed just because it was so fitting. Perfectly matched the vibe and a bit of poetic fallacy. Also it absolutely slaps, thanks Garth
This to me is Garth’s signature song. He has many that I love but this one touches you in away that can’t be put into words. It is a beautiful song, well written with great audio and tells the story of just how it is when someone cheats. It is thrilling and dark and sad but for some reason you are drawn to it. Thank you Garth for this great work!
Yeah it was considered very risqué in the 90s so radio stations wouldn’t play the full version and the video was banned for many years on CMT- man how times have changed😆
the best concert I've ever been to is Garth Brooks 3 times in a row!!! He gives 120% at every show no matter where he is. He's got the most genuine heart and is music sucks your soul out and gives it the biggest hug!

I grew up down the road from the Dallas Cowboys stadium which is my team as well naturally. Nothing like the Sea of Red hope to come to Lincoln soon to see my Cornhuskers get back to glory. The Thunder rolls when that stadium gets going that's for sure Go Big Red

I wanna know how they moved all this stage setup rig from place to place. i know on trucks .. but that above them is way too big for a truck.. it appears that way
I would've hated that stage set had I have been the one doing this video. Those center of the arena sets really make it hard for people down on the ground level to see what is going on sometimes. Everyone on one side and down the middle gets to actually see the performer if they happen to be on one side or the other but everyone on the other side gets to view the jumbotron. I've always liked the stages at one end of the venue or the other so that everyone gets a consistent view throughout the entire show. But that is just me.......

This song is about what I went through in my marriage but I didn't kill him. I wanted to, but I didn't. Looking back, I think maybe he was possessed. When he drank he became a devil.

Sound in outdoor concerts when recording tends to be better because the sound doesn't have many places to bounce off of, so it doesn't echo as much.
