Anthony, it's not the mod that increases the enemy HP, it's being teamed up. If you summon one person, bosses get +60% HP and +50% resistances. Summon two people and they get even stronger.

"mechanics have been introduced in addition to the base game's enemy health pool increases as you would normally get with increasing phantoms: As you can play with 5 phantoms (as opposed to the maximum of 2 in the base game), additional tiers of enemy scaling have been added in order to preserve the game's challenge."

I'm not sure if they think it's more entertaining that way but in reality, it's just infuriating sometimes. I've seen this Doc....Neebs ends up losing his mind to drugs, Simon gets caught stealing, Dora is caught supplying Neebs with Drugs, and Appsro 100% is going to rape Anthony at some point. He's the weakest and slowest
Appsro, it's not that magic doesn't work in the game it's that you're to far on 90% of your casts. If you watch the fight of you guys doing the Sentinel almost all of your casts disappear before they get to him.
Keep 'em coming boys. This has been a fun one to watch! I wish these were weekly. I've have faith in Neebs being able to pick it all up... Just takes some time.

Nice work on the sentinel. To trigger those blood bursts, you need to keep applying bleed effects. Same for any status effect like stagger or poison--keep applying the effect and it will ultimately do something fun.
I am so glad I found these. Been a long time fan of the neebs crew but I used to love watching SBFP darks soul 1,2, 3 n bloodborne. I was so sad when the channel broke up because I wanted to watch them play sekiro and elden ring but neebs, appsro and anthony have such similar sense of humour it's great. You guys might of met matt, pat and wolly back in the machinima days too. Great raw content I love it.
Anthony isn't lying about Bloody Slash! Bleed is easily one of the best status build-ups in Elden Ring. Appsro's Fanged Imp Ashes also have the ability to cause Bleed build-up. I've used Bloody Slash on the Samurai starting class with the Fanged Imps to clear bosses in Caelid. I wonder if this will lead to Appsro one day wielding one of the two Intelligence scaling katanas.

For the future you can drop rues from your pocket to the group and other players can pick em up. Just in case one of you is a couple hundred short. Also with magic early on it's best to stick with the glintstone spell you start with as it's fast and cheap meaning you can cast it far safer and will kill them over time.
Appsro needs to learn distance control, firing off spells out of range is just wasting fp. Neebs needs to learn how to lock on to enemies so the camera stays focused forward

Nifty little trick I learned about cliffs. When you craft rainbow stones (you should really get the crafting kit first thing) you can toss them over the edge. If they land in one piece and start to glow, the fall is safe. If the stone shatters and doesn't glow, the fall will kill you

Love the vids, look for the isolated merchant in the weeping peninsula to the south and you can get a lantern for 1800 moneys that attaches to your hip and you don’t ever need a torch

Quick recommendation: when I played, I added my flasks to the secondary menu you can access by holding triangle or Y on your controller. This saves you the panic of having to cycle through your summons to heal or replenish focus. I believe Appsro has already added Torrent to that menu - a good start!
Anthony, That red spray is bleed damage. Some weapons like Katana's and some weapon arts, ashs of war like your bloodly slash will cause bleed. Check your weapon information to see it, will be with damage. Bleed percent will build as it is hit with bleed attacks until it gets to a point, triggering a single large take away of health done by health percent. Every trigger of bleed will increase the amount of bleed damage needed to trigger the next. Bleed builds are pretty good, get a Katana and see what ashs of war are fun and go to town, just don't upgrade the bleed away.
Whenever neebs says something like "how do I do that" in reference to where to go and what buttons to push yiu should refer to him as Simon such as "well... simon.. you do this.."
Anthony is a great addition to the team, because of his abilities regarding gameplay and teamwork, it makes them 0.0000076% more efficient at the game. Or, to put it in another perspective, they are now as efficient at gameplay as someone whose just come out of a coma, and has major muscle atrophy.
Appsro two hand your staff unless you need to block. Also hold down the button you use to quick switch items and it will go to the first item you have equipped which will be your health flask
The best thing about bloody slash is that is puts blood loss on even the standard 2 attacks (light and heavy) you don't need to use the ash of war attack, it hurts you every time you use it.
Having Anthony going on record saying he has used bloody slash a lot in previous playthroughs but at the same time not knowing what a bleed status effect is... Oh wow that right there hurts me physically, mentally and spiritually
The thing to keep in mind while watching this struggle-through, magic or "sorcery" is so overpowered in this game that it's the unofficial easy mode. Especially when you combine it with summons and ashes of war. If you're struggling this much, try restarting with a casting build or if you're already passed Rennala, you can re-spec by talking to her and using a Larval Tear.
The dumpster is awesome and this series is fantastic! Given how long the playtime can be with Elden Ring, and the non-curated setting for the dumpster, I would love to see the team invite some guests who specialize in Souls games - like Lobos, Dist, Hob, etc. It would be like inviting Kane to the Darkness Falls series, so the team had some some help from time-to-time, while also adding a touch of flare (not that the flare is needed!).
I believe the soldiers outside the first boss drop smith stones and sometimes level 2 smith stones. Also, use your craft bag to make horse feed to heal your horse instead of using a flask to revive it.
the cookbooks teach you to craft new items....also of you plan to mostly dodge you can equip youre staff in youre left hand and swich between staff and sheild..just remember i changes youre sorcery button to lb instead of rb

also if you remove the parry ability from youre sheild youll be able to use youre sword skill with the sheild equiped

What does 2 handing the staff do? I don't think it does anything in the other souls games, is Elden Ring different?
When you use two hands on swords, your attacks are stronger. I believe your attacks also increase when using two hands on a staff.
two handing a staff doesn't do anything. you're better off having a magic boosting sword and a staff as you get both bonuses
