Back in the 80’s I rescued a whitetail doe from a frozen river with an extension cord I had in the back of my truck. No video back in those days for anyone to see it. Just me and my then wife. She would have drowned for sure. (The deer not my wife!) She had icicles hanging off her face when we found her near Cranbrook British Columbia. I know the feeling those guys had. And it’s a memory for life. Good job my fellow deer rescuers! That was awesome!

@@skylark1250 the difference is that animals don't take advantage of kindness whereas homeless and struggling humans are often dealing with a multitude of issues including mental health problems that make them a massive pain to deal with and a drain on the people around them. This is how I know that you avoid the homeless and downtrodden just as much as anyone else in the comments.

My god. That looks EXHAUSTING just looking at it, because if you pull too hard, the buck's neck might be affected, but if you don't pull hard enough, the buck's not gonna move. You have to put just enough force, for a very long time. Holy crap. Thank you.

I kept looking at the mud/tar that poor deer was stuck in and it looks identical to the pavement, it's scary because even a person could find themselves stuck in that horrid situation 😱 I'm glad they got the buck free though

Deer often end up in terrible circumstances. I rescued two baby deer trapped in a wrought iron fence where they were injured and near death. Thank God for these men and this difficult rescue. God bless them and that beautiful young buck.

Wonderful people doing a great thing!😊 Seeing this meant a little more to me than I think it would most people.❤🦌 I have a very unique relationship with a doe on our property and I've had the opportunity to watch many of her fawns grow into beautiful animals. In 2015 she had twins as she usually does, these two were both male. I named them Big Ears and Little Ears. Their mother, Nicky, brought them by almost everyday for a snack at the snack stump since they were about three weeks old and for over two years, I watched them grow into gorgeous bucks. I've only recently been sharing videos on RUclips of Nicky, her offspring, and the rest of the wild critters around our property.
With all the garbage I see in the real world today, this actually teared me up. Glad to see there’s hope in humanity. Thx for this guys and good on you 👍

I have a very unique relationship with a doe on our property and I've had the opportunity to watch many of her fawns grow into beautiful animals. In 2015 she had twins as she usually does, these two were both male. I named them Big Ears and Little Ears. Their mother, Nicky, brought them by almost everyday for a snack at the snack stump since they were about three weeks old and for over two years, I watched them grow into gorgeous bucks. I've only recently been sharing videos on RUclips of Nicky, her offspring, and the rest of the wild critters around our property.
