If you do not have all the options in s note you have to down load the extension pack from the more features option when you open S Note. ( I wrote this with my pen ! ) This phone is AWESOME!

Great ! Except that you should have given actual application / demonstration samples. Say, when you mentioned notes on addresses as applied on actual google maps; telephone numbers on actual calls; the actual Craig's list as applied on ..., etc..., Anyway i will be getting the next Galaxy Note 6(?) and trust you will update this tutorial hopefully considering these observations. Otherwise like i said, it's great ! I will keep this one on my folder. Thanks !👍
I have heard that when you detach the S Pen from its place there is no more notification on status bar, and this video shows the same too, is that right? I mean there is no option to have it enabled, like it was on Note 3?

I have a brand new Note 5. 2 things that i can not do. 1. when using s pen in a text message i do not get a drawing mode option as shown in video 2. i was told you can hold the button down and long press the screen for a screenshot, this too is not working. Maybe you could explain what the 2 buttons on the S pen are for please!

On the note 4 you were able to take a picture that has text and copy it as a text and paste it somewhere from a picture does the note 5 still have this. The note 4 you could put a square around any pic and it will turn it into a text that you can copy then paste those text or letters
It doesn't take the text only in selection mode now, it's called photo note but it's basically a photo that can be cropped but the text can't be extracted from what I can tell.
+doug kuhns I didn't know what it was called. I'm very unhappy with the note 5 coming from the 4. Missing features and battery life is very bad. Main reason why I liked the note 4 to copy text out of pics or take text from any area by putting a square around it and copy.

I never see anybody mention how to do a pen window. I will explain. This will be a window that you can have at the ready and can minimize it and close it. It works with the phone, email, calculator, calendar, and with with the s-note notepad, and other things. You need to open up the window you want to full-screen first. Then you take the S-pen and long-press and drag the upper right or left of the screen till you feel it lightly vibrate and slowly drag it to the middle of the screen. It will minimize.
No u don't have to have the button to the S pen in to use it. You should know that if u have the phone. I personally take out the S pen & play with it clicking it in & out like a real pen. BEST PHONE I'VE EVER OWNED BY FAR !!!!
