My advice is stop reading the Daily Mail or other lunatic right wing media. Everything worth having in the UK comes from the Labour movement. All social benefits were enacted by Labour administrations. After 40 years of neoliberalism the UK is broken The most unequal society in the developed world. Class ridden. Living standards not In the top 20. Poverty on a scale that was unthinkable in the 1960s. Huge increase in food banks that didn't exist in the 1960s. Soon 1930s conditions will return. That is the Tory legacy.
