Hi Besties I will have another video for you next week of 2 more gingerbread trees. So stay tuned for that video they all come out adorable. Thank you so much for watching if you are new don't forget to subscribe. I will have 3 videos out this week the next ones will be on Wednesday and Friday. Xoxo Mitzy
I know this is 10 months old,but advice here is you were using a topping this is used for ceiling texture, next time use the joint compound it has a glue in it and will not crack on you.hope this helps.
These are gorgeous! Here is a tip: add the paint to your compound or light weight spackle before applying to the tree. I use a craft stick to mix the lightweight spackle and acrylic paint in a small plastic bowl.

Hey, I think I still have one of those plexiglass things you’re using for the clay! I believe it was originally for a picture. Lol That’s a great way to use things you have on hand, and won’t leave hand, or fingerprints!
Truly jealousy thank you for your video and inspired me to make the gingerbread one The only difference is that I did to mines if I put glitter all over the little gingerbread and use some puff paint and they popped out and I ended some candy canes to the white part they came out gorgeous again thank you for the inspiration
Muy bonito amigui, tamb quiero hacer uno, estoy muy emocionada,he ido comprando todo y creo que ya estoy lista para empezar, gracias por compartir, saluditoss
I like the idea for the gingerbread boy tree, but expected to see you trace the details on them with white puff paint. And by tracing a skirt on some of them, you could have girls, too. Where is the red for the bows? It would be a nice pop of color. I couldn't help wondering why you didn't use white spray paint on the other tree.
Here's a hint: You can wet sand joint compound or spackle. Wet a paper towel or a sponge and run it over the rougher parts once they've dried. You don't want the paper towel dripping but you want it wet. Wet sanding is a LOT less messy. Found out about it when were remodeling our house and the sheetrock installer used wet sanding. Just did a small tree and it's very smooth. I'll let it dry over night and check it tomorrow to see if I need to go over it with a high grit sand paper to finish before I paint. No dust and it's very quick!
Girl yu majorly talented it’s stunning and unmatched!!!! Yu should totally start an Etsy page this whole idea is stunning and mind blowing!!! This was needed bc I was doing gingerbread too this year this helped out a lot!!!
Hi Michelle it’s joint compound it’s actually to mud walls and give it texture. I had it left over from working on things here at my house. I bought it at Home Depot.
This is the best DIY on u tube ,ever. Thank you wanted to make the at home trees but figure it out. Did know why you made white so wide, now it makes sense. So proud of your talents. What do you use under the clay?
Hey There 👋🏾 These came out so cute ❤. You did a really great job! I’m planning on using the wood tress from Hobby Lobby in my decor. Thanks so much for sharing! Great video. Have a great rest of your week!😊
Yes I had to bake it in the oven for 30 min. I think the other brand of clay has less baking time. Ill have to look at the baking times next time. This was my first time buying it.

Amei, obrigada p compartilhar conosco. Ficaram perfeitas!!
When it comes to the cone getting wet maybe covering it with a polyurethane, and letting it dry before decorating it would help.
