Hi Besties I will have another video for you next week of 2 more gingerbread trees. So stay tuned for that video they all come out adorable. Thank you so much for watching if you are new don't forget to subscribe. I will have 3 videos out this week the next ones will be on Wednesday and Friday. Xoxo Mitzy
I know this is 10 months old,but advice here is you were using a topping this is used for ceiling texture, next time use the joint compound it has a glue in it and will not crack on you.hope this helps.
These are gorgeous! Here is a tip: add the paint to your compound or light weight spackle before applying to the tree. I use a craft stick to mix the lightweight spackle and acrylic paint in a small plastic bowl.
Love your gingerbread trees i had that floating in my head . as senior citizen i live on a fixed income I'm going too attempt too copy yours . so beautiful they look store bought.🎄🎄👌
Hola!! N.L. México 🥰❤️🫂💕😚💞
Here's a hint: You can wet sand joint compound or spackle. Wet a paper towel or a sponge and run it over the rougher parts once they've dried. You don't want the paper towel dripping but you want it wet. Wet sanding is a LOT less messy. Found out about it when were remodeling our house and the sheetrock installer used wet sanding. Just did a small tree and it's very smooth. I'll let it dry over night and check it tomorrow to see if I need to go over it with a high grit sand paper to finish before I paint. No dust and it's very quick!
Truly jealousy thank you for your video and inspired me to make the gingerbread one The only difference is that I did to mines if I put glitter all over the little gingerbread and use some puff paint and they popped out and I ended some candy canes to the white part they came out gorgeous again thank you for the inspiration
So glad I found this older video. I have been wanting a gingerbread tree but not at $50.00 or more, now I know how to make one. Thank you. I also like your candy tree but I don't have enough patience to try it.

I like the idea for the gingerbread boy tree, but expected to see you trace the details on them with white puff paint. And by tracing a skirt on some of them, you could have girls, too. Where is the red for the bows? It would be a nice pop of color. I couldn't help wondering why you didn't use white spray paint on the other tree.
Hey, I think I still have one of those plexiglass things you’re using for the clay! I believe it was originally for a picture. Lol That’s a great way to use things you have on hand, and won’t leave hand, or fingerprints!
Hey There 👋🏾 These came out so cute ❤. You did a really great job! I’m planning on using the wood tress from Hobby Lobby in my decor. Thanks so much for sharing! Great video. Have a great rest of your week!😊
Girl yu majorly talented it’s stunning and unmatched!!!! Yu should totally start an Etsy page this whole idea is stunning and mind blowing!!! This was needed bc I was doing gingerbread too this year this helped out a lot!!!

When it comes to the cone getting wet maybe covering it with a polyurethane, and letting it dry before decorating it would help.

LOVE IT! Question... Where did you say that you got your extruder with the accessories? I couldn't find a link.
Hi Lisa than you for reminding me I bought it from Amazon here's the link. amzn.to/3eAlF2j. Thank you
This is the best DIY on u tube ,ever. Thank you wanted to make the at home trees but figure it out. Did know why you made white so wide, now it makes sense. So proud of your talents. What do you use under the clay?
Pat you’re so sweet thank you. While I was making the candies I just had a piece of parchment paper. To glue them I just used hot glue sticks. ❤️
Olá, tudo bem?
Seu vídeo é o mais lindo que eu vi, parabéns.
Eu falo português do Brasil, então não entendi o que você usou para imitar o chantilly, poderia me dizer por favor?
Hi I used joint compound.
I love it. What kind of white clay did u use. Now I want to do one.
Hi Michelle it’s joint compound it’s actually to mud walls and give it texture. I had it left over from working on things here at my house. I bought it at Home Depot.
where did you get gingerbread men loved your video
Hi Diane I bought the bag at Hobby Lobby in the craft section for $3.
Super cute trees! Where did you get the cones?
Hi Peggy the cones are from Hobby Lobby.
Have you tried a heat gun or blow dryer to help the inside piece dry
Hi Marthana I didn’t but that is a great idea.
🖤
Do you have a video how you make the cones
Hi Karla I bought the cones at hobby lobby.
Did you bake your candies and donuts ?
Hi Tammy yes I baked the candies. ❤️
beautiful where did you buy the trees
They are from Hobby Lobby they have some in the Christmas Decor and some In The craft and wood area.
@@HomeWithMitzy thank you so much ❤
🥰❤️❤️❤️👍🏻✨✨✨
Where do you get the tree forms? Are they foam or paper?
They are from Hobby Lobby
Caulking and spacule work better for decorating
