Great video. I converted to Catholicism in 2016 and I never thought of wearing a medal until I watched this video. Thankyou and God bless you with your channel 🙏
Do it!
That is great! I hope you choose to wear one!
God Bless Katherine! and all who watch her. Having been wearing Miraculous Medal and Scapular for a year, embracing my faith more and life is better. P.S. Katherine please don't get a tattoo. You can change your medals, your clothes, your make up, your hair, and even your mind. You are beautiful as you are. Happy Sunday.
I lost my crucifix and my miraculous medal last night at my Aunt and uncle’s house . I thibk my baby might’ve yanked it from my necklace . I’m so bummed out but at the same time , I hope it’ll bring grace , love and curiosity for my uncle , aunt & cousins who are Protestant. They are fallen away Catholics who didn’t know the faith and turned to Pastor Bob’s non denomination church . I pray it’ll help them come back also with my prayers 🙏🏼🤍
sounds very auspicious
I'm a new subscriber from AK. Thanks for sharing this. I wear a gold & silver crucifix, a blue miraculous medal & a silver St. Benedict medal (from our bishop) all on a black leather cord all the time.
I'm so grateful you're here !
@@LenaSheppard that’s perfect!
I think the Blessed Mother wants me to wear the Miraculous Medal. I’ve been seeing them Everywhere
@@JoshJimenez_ that would be a good fit then!
Maybe they sell them at Our Lady of Perpetual Motion church.
Thanks for the video, I just gifted three miraculous medals!
Wonderful!!!
I personally wear one with St Sebastian that was given to me by my parents when I played lacrosse. I played for 12 years and it was a very important part of my life in both highschool and colllege. I played goalie so I was able to tuck the medal under my gear when playing.
Great video thank you so much. Archangel Gabriel is my patron Saint. I will look for a nice medal. God bless you
@@antoniosanjurjo8442 that’s great!!!
I'm starting Footsteps, the Million Medal Mission. The goal is to encourage parishes to hand out blessed Saint Benedict medals, to get us to a million. I wear three medals on my chain. Saint Benedict, Saint Joseph and Padre Pio. I also wear the brown scapular.
Thanks so much for your video.
thank you so much for watching!
Christine Watkins wrote a book on the Miraculous Medal and I just fell in love with it.
Yes in the 60s for me, seeing the stations on the cross on the walls, i would stare at those images as i prayed, and when you received communion, you felt close to Jesus, i fell away when i was older, but on a night in 1987, i met my most dearest Blessed Mother of Jesus in my room, words can't explain the beauty of the Blessed Mother Mary, only those who have met with Her like those children from Fatima, Lourdes Akita and many more, what do they say what Mother Mary looks like, She asked me to tell the people back to Her Son, and i knew that the love Mother Mary poured into my heart was from Her Son Jesus, i would ask anyone to not give up on hope and pray dearly from your heart and never let it go astray.
Shining Kathrine 🎉❤
You could get the medal blessed by a priest or sprinkled with holy water. It would incur additional spiritual protection.
I make a little sign of the cross on my medal with Holy Water every week at Mass. My wedding ring also and ask God to continue to bless our marriage.
Thanks for sharing
Heavenly
It lets single Catholic men know your faithfully Catholic. They look great on you. Having little gold saint medal right next to and with little gold cross is probably the best looking and most tasteful way of showing that your catholic. It seems to be a very popular size and combination with young women lately. Yes, our Church really is the True Church, even though we are most criticized.
When I was in 8th grade in N. Jersey and was in Cath. school, the Baltimore Catechism taught that to be saved, you have to convert someone who isn't a Catholic to become a catholic. My target was my dad, who had no discernable religion I knew of (outside of personal discipline.) He and my mom slept separately, so when nobody was around I would slip brown Catholic scapular patches under his mattress of his bed, thinking that "Catholic conversion energy" might find its' way up through his mattress and into his soul. And my brother had a St. Christopher medal statue on the dashboard of his car, but he'd turn it around so Christopher's back would face the car's interior. He said he wanted St. Chris to be watching the road, not having his back to the windshield. And I think they said it was okay to wear a medal in the pool in a lightening storm, because the metal would act as a ground so you wouldn't get electrocuted by the usual interaction of lightning, metal, and water.
You should read the testimonies of those who witnessed miracles related to these medals. They’re awe-inspiring. My one suggestion is to invest in good metal because cheap ones may cause irritation to the skin (I had like a $5 miraculous medal that did that).
Yes I usually go for sterling silver bcs of skin issues
that is a good idea!!! thank you!
Wonderful job. Amen.
Thank you!
I pray the rosary and I use the rosary to pray the Divine Mercy Chaplet, and St. Michael Chaplet, and the Vespers which is a Liturgy of the Hours which has seven prayers,
A new subs from Central America, God bless you, great video 😊
Thank you! God bless you too!
God bless you, I don't know if you're aware but after you are placed in the confraternity of the brown scapular after you receive your scapular. You can get a four-way scapula metal, and they do have different 4-way metals with different saints on them there are also appropriate for scapulars, I personally have a four-way metal that's a military medal and I also have Saint Benedict medal my four-way metal is the miraculous medal included I learned something the other day that originally the the metal was called the for the immaculate conception. That was so miraculous that it became known as The miraculous medal.
The only medal I wear right now is a Miraculous Medal that was given to me as a gift. Last week, I finished the 8 day Octave of Consecration to God the Father, and just ordered a God The Father Medal which should arrive soon. I'll probably stop there though. I'll wear the Miraculous Medal and the God The Father medal, along with the Offering Cloth scapular of God the Father. That's plenty around my neck. I have St Benedict Medal built into my crucifix too, but I don't wear that. It sits by my bedside.
These are great points, glad you mentioned the scapular, I rotate that one but I don’t have a true devotion for just the scapular daily. Do you have a special clasp for your chains? My hair constantly wraps and pulls on mine. :)
I do.
I wear a St Joan of Arc medal. She’s my confirmation Saint.
I had a neck full of them back in 2016 but my macho dad saw them and thought that they were girly.
#teamstbenedictmedal here. 💪
A tattoo is like graffiti on an attractive building-there is no need to get one, even if it has a religious theme.
Tattoos are ugly and you have nice skin. Keep it looking nice.
Maybe it's perfectly safe, but people look at you strangely. Especially if you are male.
not in catholic countries
