I think what a lot of girls don't realize, and it's something that took me a while to realize to is, you have to be clear with guys, because holding them too close can cause you, even if not intentionally, to lead them on. Honestly it's both of their faults. I don't agree with Wook just ignoring her. After all he never confessed to her. The episodes he might have confessed he spaced out and imagined a confession which is why Reum didn't think it was anything important because he said nothing. The other time was when she was drunk. He needed to balls to actually confess. In Reum's case she probably had a crush on her senior and when you're so focused on one person it's hard to notice the feelings of anyone else. Though when she saw him with the new girl and got jealous she went to her senior to ask for advice. All her life with Wook was a friend. Honestly this isn't specifically ONE of their faults and someone deserves better. It's BOTH of their faults and they BOTH deserve better. The only reason you're siding with one person more than the other is because either you were in a similar situation OR it's because honestly we've seen Wook's inner thoughts more than we've seen Reum making us understand his POV much better. Though I don't agree with his actions to ignore her completely. It's not like he ever TRULY confessed to her. And yes she was busy because they are college students of course they don't have much time. She talked to her senior a lot because they had a project together. Wook anticipated rejection. Also Reum's problem is her density. She's super dense and emotionally confused. She needs to know herself better. This whole situation could've been avoided if both of them did something. If Wook confessed and if Reum was more aware of her own true feelings.

Why do people keep saying Reum deserves it, that she's getting a taste of her own medicine when she actually didn't know his feelings because he never confessed? She was just treating him as a friend because they ARE (were) friends! She didn't do anything wrong and if she hadn't developed feelings for him, she wouldn't be this upset either. I fully support and wait for Wook to end up with Reum.
EDIT: It's insane that there are so many people who didn't understand that the scene on the bench was just Wook's imagination/fantasy of how it would go if he DID confess. And based on the "indirect kiss" episode, we know he does tend to fantasize a lot.

I guess I'll finally leave a comment. I don't think Yeo Reum's feelings started when Yena came. I think they were there before. You can see when she draws Wook and how she gets flustered while he's looking straight at her. She smiles at that picture later after its drawn. The next time is when he holds her hair back while she drinks water. She also got flustered then and tried to play it off but later she kept stroking that piece of hair Wook had held back. These were seeds of her feelings. It's obvious she liked being with Wook because even when Gun ha Seonbae called to have her meet up she seemed reluctant to do so until he said it was necessary to come then.
I really wish Wook would have tried confessing his love to her while she was coherent without getting discouraged. Even if he feels like she would have rejected him. at least he can move on with a clear conscience and not be avoiding her for no reason. At this point he's being a COWARD which hurts me to say cuz I was really rooting for him. I don't think what he's doing is fair to Yeo Reum or Yena because he hasn't laid himself bare and isn't truly giving either a chance.

Wook never confessed his feelings, and didn't want to ruin the friendship.
Yet he decides that the best way to get over someone he never confessed to is to ignore and avoid them, thus ruining their good friendship.
If you're over her and now have no feelings for her, why not remain friends? Yeo Reum wanted to save the friendship by going to that guy for advice, yet my son Wook decides to just avoid? I've experienced this myself, and having someone you thought was a good friend suddenly wall you off and avoid you is really hurtful, especially if they never directly say why.
He needed to be mature and confess. Since he didn't, he needs to be mature and not avoid her and still keep the friendship dynamic. She needed to be mature and not take wook for granted, but now she's being mature and actually wanted to seek out advice for their friendship and wants to speak with him. It's like they switched roles.

The thing is, in this story (Or from how I'm catching onto it/understanding it) Wook is trying to get over her/let go of her in his own way. I guess by avoiding and ignoring Yeo Reum, it's his way of thinking that he'll just be back when he's finally over her/has no lingering feelings for her.
I doubt he's over her/has no feelings for her anymore, so this is just his coping mechanism. (Not against your point/saying it's wrong, it's just what I think)
+ Being mature and confessing also proposes a threat to Wook's small group of friends, if shit hits the fan, things might forever be awkward for those 4 and he won't be able to bring it back to how it was

Ignoring someone without warning may be a coping mechanism for some, but the person on the receiving end will get hurt, especially if they don't even know what the problem is. Communication is key to good friendships and avoiding conflict and awkwardness in the first place. Avoidance within itself creates tension/awkwardness between the two, and when the rest of the group notices their awkwardness, the entire group would fall into awkwardness that he ever so wanted to avoid by confession. His old fears of creating awkwardness and ruining the friendship is coming true without him even confessing basically lol.
In real life this would probably not turn out so well at all, but hopefully in this cartoon drama that has already pulled some (really cute) clichés they'll also do the "we notice our feelings for each other and we're mature enough to speak now and happy wee" cliché to wrap things up. Or not, to keep it interesting, since I really don't mind if they date others. (Sorry for the long text)

Let me make things clear. NUMBER ONE: NEVER IN THE EPISODES HAS WOOK CONFESSED TO YEO REUM directly except in his imagination and while she is drunk. TWO: YEO REUM NEVER CONFESSED TO GUN HA, GUN HA TOLD HER HE LIKES HER BUT YEO REUM WAS TALKING ABOUT A FRIEND AND HOW AWKWARD IT IS AND SHE MIGHT NOT THINK OF HIM AS A FRIEND(Aka most likely Wook)
Thank you for your time I just want to clear people’s misunderstanding but personally I think both Yeo Reum and Wook is at fault. Yeo Reum is dense and Wook is a coward. Even though Wook didn’t confess, the hints are pretty obvious yet some people are dense so it’s acceptable. Wook gives up on Yeo Reum and avoids her and hangs out with Yena(gosh darn it). Yeo Reum isn’t all at fault. Also, Yena shippers, if you really want the best for Yena, do you think she should date Wook especially since Wook is using her out of desperation? Tbh I believe not. I believe the situation should be cleared first before Wook can truly move on. Therefore, I’ll be supporting Wook on confessing Bc that’s what is on his mind rn. If he gets rejected and spends time with Yena for like multiple months or so then maybe the ship can sail. I’m not being biased (since I’m a Yeo Reum x Wook), but this is my opinion

There's a lot of people in the comments who seem to have Yeo Reum's head on a flaming stake. I know, she's dense, but to blame her for not noticing Wook's crush is absurd. It's his fault too. He never confessed, and when he did, she was drunk and out of it so like she'd know... And many people won't just assume their close friends like them just because they're "nice" to them. Guy friends liked me before back in school, but I never knew because I never took their niceness as a legit crush on me UNTIL they confessed themselves.
Also, just because it took Yeo Reum longer to like him back doesn't make her trash, and just because she's Interested in other guys too doesn't make her trash either. Wook is also to blame for all this, and right now he's handling things really childishly himself. I know not everyone thinks like this because everyone's different, but it's like some fangirls just hate other girls (characters) just because they don't want to immediately be with the boy they'd date right away themselves.
(avoiding her and she doesn't know why. Wtf? Someone did this to me in school years ago and it hurt. I think the person should know WHY they're being avoided and left alone, not left to wonder themselves or feel like they did something terribly wrong. They deserve the right to know.)
