Dr.Trish, your work is especially important to us because it saves our lives. I am deeply grateful for what you do!!!
You’re welcome.
Dr. Leigh, my husband and I have been watching your videos now for almost 100 days (100 days post D-day from PMO) and we both are so thankful to have found you. Your knowledge has made sense of a horrific situation (30 years addiction). I found this video and want to thank you again because I have been diagnosed 'clinically depressed' for all my life. (I am an professional artist and you know what they say about artists, right?) After this soul shattering event, I am finding just existing to be very difficult, at best. We have the Muse headband and we're both using it faithfully, and I hope to bring some peace to my life with it. We're in Oregon and don't have financial means to do a remote session with you, but know that we appreciate all you do. It may very well be what saves our marriage.
Hey, fellow artist.
Sorry about the rough experience. I know how horrifying it can be.
Have you tried some lifestyle changes that don't require money?
Also, there's a guided meditation I did here on RUclips and it helped me reduce the depth of the anguish.
@@hopemokaya Thank you for the kind comments. We are in a FAR better place now--10 months post D-Day--than I was when I wrote that. It has easily been the worst year of my life. I still struggle, but now, we go for a few days between trigger episodes (instead of multiple times a day). We made some lifestyle changes: joined a gym together, do daily 'check-ins', meditation, counseling, etc. We've worked on recovery--both of us--but still, at least in my mind right now, it is what defines me. Instead of an artist (I've not been able to focus on painting since last September), I think of myself as a betrayed person who's trying to survive, trying to find a sense of value and self esteem that were shattered.

There's still room for more inner work, which means there's plenty of space for peace to deepen into and for you to experience the love (or normalcy) of life.
I am so happy about your progress. I'm happy you're able to do this as a unit with your husband.
I'm rooting for you. And if you need someone to talk to, I'll be there.
Balance your life. This is the whole point. Develop your faculties without letting any one dominate the whole psyche
But there are things we should do more than others, isn't that also domination?
This is fascinating. I wish more doctors knew this. I've struggled with depression for 16 years and wondered why I can't snap out of it. I would like to know how to heal this.
Neuroptimal Neurofeedback. Do enough sessions of it until you feel a difference! ❤
How r u today?
are you cured ?
Unfortunately as far as I know it is an incurable disease.. I would love to hear if you are cured..
Wooooow thank you ma'am Dr.Trish it's amazing what I'm learning from you you are one of the few top intellects in the world.
This was a great video. I noticed withdrawing from porn and becoming celibate has made me acknowledge my actual emotions 🌹
That’s great. That’s the way to do it. Feel them, acknowledge them, and move through them.
I agree. I’ve been feeling things much deeper and longing for human connection mentally
So another words give you money.
Can we use Brainwave entrainment to speed up the brain in case of depression but also to slow down the brain in case of hypomania??
So no longer related to seratonin levels? Im confused, what you mean by faster and slower.
Will help a Veteran with PTSD?
Yes
Thank you ❤
What about people on antipsychotics, antidepressants, who have been in mental institutions please
My owner I didn't know the mind an the brane were different..your my only owner an I only pay attention to you but your my idol so I downloaded a neuroscience app...if you tell me to uninstall it il do it rite away my owner Dr.trish
Your awsome
Any solid psychiatrist can easily diagnose clinical depression by talking with you if you have health insurarance or can afford a standard visit. On the other hand, Neurofeedback has mixed effectiveness in medical studies. Choose wisely.
How do I heal my mind , body and soul ?
Exercise, no watching porn and have short and long term goals in life.
@@ramborockyhitman47 why no porn?😭 what does it have to do with that
@@ahmed-ne1cr extremely bad for the brain like drugs
@@viliusjankauskas8878 so i cant watch any?? like damn
@@ahmed-ne1cr It affects people differently. Some people get away without addiction, for some people it destroys their potential. I'd sugguest trying 30 days and seeing how it makes u feel, if it's the same you can keep watching
How much to.do a brain map ? Can you identify depression, anxiety, porn affected brain etc ?
Hi. Yes. Absolutely. I can see the brain patterns that create depression anxiety and the porn brain pattern. It is $399. Usually we only add it to our home Neurofeedback program so that people are committed to change.

@@DrTrishLeighBrainRewire thanks Dr Trish. So you can't just get a brain map to at least first understand what is going on 'if' one is sceptical about the science behind this ? What I mean is that for instance they offer anti depressants to improve serotinin uptake . I have always said how do you prove the brain is depleted of serotonin ?
@@oliverkent7158 Other practitioners will do the map first. I prefer to work with non-skeptics if you know what I mean. Or at least hopeful skeptics 😉.
@@DrTrishLeighBrainRewire fair enough Dr Trish but maybe you should accept that this is very new for most of us ie understanding brain science of addiction. I said elsewhere that Psychs expect patients to take powerful drugs based on assumptions eg with anti depressants that serotonin levels are depleted ? My argument is show me that that is true ie that ny brain is depleted first. You have to lead the horse to water first imho. Thanks
❤❤❤
The Film, lawnmower man comes to mind?.
I’ve never seen it but I just looked it up and that is not at all how Neurofeedback works. I wish it could give me psychic powers... minus the horror, of course.
I'm unscribeing a lot of my feed tray not you of course. Enjoy the rest of your weekend
You don't help ppl. U just explain what you read or learnt in school. Wasting our time

Depression and drug addiction do not blend
Former Correctional Officer here. Thank you for helping me with my PTSD
You ever heard of Timothy Crow?? He was a linguist researcher who came up with this interesting theory that psychotic disorders like schizophrenia etc are to some extent are a result of diversity in languages from a evolutionary perspective. In layman’s terms, what he’s saying in that throughout the course of human evolution the diversity in languages from diverse cultures can play a role in the genesis of schizophrenia. Any truth to it??
Dose'nt make sense to me. But yeah.
lovely
🏅💥
This is very nice in theory. But this damn disease is chronic and incurable. There is not a single person in the world who has been cured of depression.. There are people who take medicine and try to fight, there are people who get repeated episodes of depression, but there is not a single person who has been cured, throughout history and to this day.😢
Mind wants to be empty and get busy with creative works which exercises the Intelligence..
But our social conditioning of exaggeration, fantasy, fallacy in everything disturbs it's peace by making everything pleasurable and unrealistic.. Nothing wrong with pleasure but use it only when u need it. Don't get possessed by it. We should always be committed to emptiness. When mind is empty, Intelligence starts working for u and does the best for u by default.. There is only one SIN, that's getting possessed by habit of exaggeration..
Is this brain mapping called MERT? Or similar to MERT?
This is fabulous but for those of us who can’t afford, have our brain scanned it’s not helpful
I have a new program that is just $39 a month. I can teach you how to train your brain at home.
I am trying to make this more accessible. 🙌

so the only way to fix depression is to by a cap first. notice with most of your videos you need to buy a product to see any results.
I give many tips without pushing a product on my friend! However, neurofeedback can work wonders
