    Man I wish the yards around where I am were that polite. They don't want any cameras in the yard and even if things are put back together and in one piece they will charge you for as much as possible. Thank you for these videos they really help for my future plans.

    Appreciate the time you took putting this together. I know it's a struggle to video and try to pull parts, while not wasting to much time. I try to do both and it's pretty hard and your videos are awesome.

    I LOVE THIS VIDEO. I recently pulled a transmission with my brother and I used every single tool you had except I used a Milwaukee ratchet lol same difference. It took me a few hours to do it since it was my first time but I learned ! Can’t wait for my next project so I can learn how to do it a lot faster. Thank you for this!!!

  • @Nathan-gj8ch
    @Nathan-gj8ch 5 лет назад +2

    Many years ago (like 5+) I swapped a Cg Transmission into my EJ8 and used your intermediate shaft adapter for the D16 so I could swap the accord 5 gear and get 44-48MPG. It's been like 357,900 Miles with that part you made on there. The other day I ripped WOT for a spit second clearing a 4 way stop and the diff. exploded and trashed the trans. No fault of your part just a little crunch pin that failed. When I climbed under there with the flashlight your white "H" logo was still showing, I had forgotten about it till then. So there I was sitting waiting for AAA and I found your K-swap videos.

  • @ryan_riffs

    That snap on ratchet at 13:51 is my number one tool. Save your wrists and use a longer ratchet. I am a tech so it's every day for me but still worth the money imo.

      @@hush22performance1 I'm doing an LS Swap on a few of my cars. I'm using the G6 Seats for a bench to bucket seat conversion in my caprice and chevelle. Panoramic Roofs from a G6 is hugely popular mods on old chevys. I own a 77 Caprice, 69 Chevelle, 78 Nova, 72 Cutlass, and 64 F100 longbed. Currently looking for a shop to do them right. Appreciate it.

      Awesome man. Well we are starting a legit pulling service. My shop is looking for specific Honda parts and have tried using pulling services with no luck. That’s why we started pulling our own parts. Turns out we are not the only ones looking for help. Say you have a certain type of non Honda part your always looking for say 5.3. We can be your go to. We will be located in Denver and have access to 3 large yards. We are looking for accounts just like our Honda business. The pulling service is just another revenue stream. Anything we can help you out with like trans and engine removals before anyone else gets to them let us know. We will be up and operational soon.

    Another trick you could do is find a trunk with a key remove the trunk release from inside the vehicle and lock your tools in the trunk until you get back to your car I used to hide car parts and stuff I did not want to buy that particular day in trunks and just go back and pick them up at a later time make sure you find a row that is fresh

    • @TheCremeSupreme

      I did that, but they removed the car from the yard the next day when I went back for the parts.

    If i showed up with a full size tool box and tools laying out i would be hit up every 5 minutes from shady dudes in flip flops asking to borrow stuff or help them. Now I dress like im homeless and carry a junk harbor freight box and it seems to work well. I never bring power tools either.

    • @chickenricesteak541

    I’ve started taking only the stuff that I know I’ll probably need in all 3 driver sizes. Mainly so I don’t have to worry about carrying my entire tool box into a yard. Helps leave so room to carry stuff out weight wise and then there’s less to have to carry if you’ve had a long day.

    Bruh do a compression test in the yard.ALWAYS EVERYTIME.Before you take off a single bolt.Yeah it can range buy your odds go up alot if one cylinder isn't something ridiculous like 10psi. Even start the car if possible. Luckily my last one was ripped from a working vehicle lol what are the odds hey must have been there for a short time.I appreciate the way you do business I understand the investment and stock money tie-ups and it sucks but keep going man and it will pay off in the long run. @@hush22performance1 Must have different rules in the states man.Ive done it plenty of times here in Australia.Also you get a 3 month warranty or a certain amount of Kms in an engine incase its a dud at most wreckers. Our law is very firm on refunds here.Then we got the assholes who charge $150 for a dam side mirror on a prelude.Just out of curiosity how much is a H22a4 with about 150k km on it? with tranny of course.I paid $1300 for a front cut of a 2000 lude with about 170k in kms so thats about 105k miles.

    You should get a canon t4i. It'll make vloging much easier than nikon.
    Also, you should make a diy video of combining the busted milwaukee battery pack with one of the 12v ones. That way you can build a larger batter for your milwaukee ratchet.

    I used to do something similar to what you're doing here's an easier way to get that engine hoist into the row without walking all the way to the entrance of the row just take it over to the next over the cars, the chain makes smack the windshield and hit the trunk and stuff like that but it's much faster

    I NEED HELP. I HAVE A H22A 94 PRELUDE SI . THE BODY IS PERFECT INSIDE IS DECENT. BUT IT HAS 250,000 miles and a few riged wires hear and there like to start it and some other stuff. I want to build this car but how do I get this wiring fixed first. And then should I rebuild for performance. Of do a swap and build it later?

    • @hush22performance1
      @hush22performance1  4 года назад

      Daniel Beavers if you can’t find out wiring. You could place the harness. You’ll find SIs easier than an H22 prelude. The Sis would be less likely to have been messed with also. The build will be based on your budget and performance goals. If you can afford to do both there is not reason not to.
