Submerge in water for years and then not even checking the the pistons? Engine needs a total overhaul.
That engine has never been underwater. They stripped all the major electrical components - including the engine - before covering the rest of the car in mud.
If there is an old truck, bro, it would be really cool to completely repair it.

Yep and probably just as fake. The "drive" at the end was about 1mph, or the speed you'd expect the car to move being pushed. Notice how we never saw it from an external perspective being driven? Also taking four flat tyres off, washing them, shoving air in and sticking them back on is a terrible idea. If they were flat and sitting like that years as stated, then they are dangerous.

looks like a old bmw reck is intentionally dumped into a mud pond for the video.
Exactly what I thought, especially as the engine was not in the mud-wreck when it was being power washed and then just appeared out of nowhere.

I can't be the only one who thinks this was staged...like they removed stuff prior to submerging the car. Why would you otherwise pull out a car that has none of the lights, no door cards and no engine transmission in it?
This repair job is harder than building a new car.
A car submerged underwater always means having to completely disassemble the engine and overhaul all the electrical systems. A huge undertaking when the car can only be sold for $5,000 on the market.

Plus salt water which is most water in lakes and oceans will cause all the metal parts to corrode and eventually simply rust and fall apart. Never waste time restoring a flooded vehicle.

Looks great but there was so much that needed to be done. For one thing the seats were under water and like a sponge, has so much moister still inside those seats. Under the dash never was pulled apart to dry off every piece of electronics. The slightest bad connection somewhere or something shorting out would cause that car to not start or run at all. BMW's are great cars but are extremly unforgiving. It's not like taking a 1976 Ford Pinto out of a flood and not drying it off. The Pinto will run no matter what. It's a simple car with no computers. The BMW however will not run with the slightest bit of moister left under the dash or any electrical component. That car was a goner and putting a battery in it with anything wet around the ECM would probably kill the entire electrical system.

they are honest workers. in my country, many cars are submerged every year due to natural disasters, such as typhoons and flooding. most flooded cars are to be scrapped, but a few underground car repair shops fix them and sell them at high prices, hiding the fact that the cars for sale were scrapped due to flooding.

Exactly. Impressive but not financially feasible. That's why cars are totalled. Not because they can't be fixed but because it doesn't make financial sense to do it.
So many parts ... I'll not be able to refix one back to it's original place 😅
