Shane you’re the first online teacher to have exposed this easy to understand picking technique. This is so easy to follow to be honest. Very awesome bro. Many thanks.

I have watched several of your videos and I have had an "Ah ha" moment in all of them, but this is the one where I can realize my voice on the guitar.🥰
Brilliant lesson Shane..........sorry i didnt comment on it last week i was on vacation in Spain............believe it or not i was thinking about what i was gonna practice for melodic soloing when i was home and i thought im gonna try soloing on one string and then practice it on each string..........lovely solo really melodic stuff.........cant wait to try it.........big thanks Paul from Ireland
Hi Shane, thank you for this wonderful and very insightful video sir, you got me gripped from the first second! Loved this video man! From South Africa 🇿🇦❤️👍👍
Thank you shame I think you have given me the key to playing and learning the fret board. So do I find what key the song is in or change with each chord? Thanks
If you change with each chord, you are in the right key. If all the chords are in Key. And most songs use chords from one key. Not all do, but most do. But finding out what key the song is in to start with also helps. Learn the Major scale formula ( wwhwwwh ) If you don't already know it.
Jim glad it helps. You can find the key of the song and then play along with it like I explained. Or if you change the scale with each chord then you are playing in that key of the chord for the moment the chord is passing by. To begin with I recommend to just find the key of the song and try to hit notes in the scale that sound good with the chord as it passes by. Hope that helps.
