She's so good!
She was actually really good in this screen test.
It's too bad that Ms.Channing didn't the part.
You know, it's hard to imagine now because Margot Kidder was so great as Lois but this might have worked as well. I think Stockard Channing played it a bit more edgy and sarcastic but I like her as well.
More in line with her characterization in Superman: the Animated Series
Unfortunately, she would have blown Reeve off the screen.
That is probably why they didn't pick her.
Too damn funny for Lois Lane.
She was good, gave off a more 1950s vibe though

Stockard Channing is an amazing comedic actress, but I couldn't see her as Louis Lane.
She's very Barbara Stanwyck-ish!

I would have chosen Anne Archer instead
Very funny and likeable actress, yet at the same time I'd find her to be too tomboyish for the role!
Which is ironic because in the comics Lois was known to be very aggressive when it came to getting the story.

Exactly! I thnk Stockard Channing would of been great. I loved her in the West Wing.
