We ended up going to Walmart and I uploaded the video while up town, we are still out of power at the house and I don’t really have service at home without the WiFi so I won’t really be able to check comments until we have power again, I hope everybody is safe from the storm and hope you all enjoy the video ❤

I really liked your original backslash. But you were right. The new backslash looks gorgeous. I love it. It makes such a difference in the kitchen. It really brightens things up. And I love the lighting. You have such good ideas and you complete every project beautifully. You've got the wheels in my head spinning. Great job! Can't wait to see what you do next.

You can feel the gap with either maybe Almond color caulking or actual grout that’s a tan color.

Yeah the premixed grout would be great there. And it would also add to the real tile look

Everything looks beautiful as always! Suggestion! Get you a dish washing liquid dispenser theyre super cheap and make life so much easier! They just pop in your sink and a tube connects to the dish washing liquid under the sink!
I have one, but I use it for hand soap to keep my hands clean whilst cooking. I keep my dishwashing soap in the cupboard under the sink 🙂.

Could you use the strips of white looking caulk. Cant think of what its called..So later you could just pull it off if you need to change anything later? Asking for a friend who isn't a good caulker😂

I can't stand it either. My grand daughter cleaned houses for a while. I wouldn't do that for nothing. I bought 3 chairs from antique store. I just don't think about it. I have very weird ways. That backsplash is absolutely, you make it look so easy. I love the punk lights under the bar, that bar looks so nice. Hope you all are staying safe. We lost power this morning about 3:30 AM looks like sometime Sunday it has been devastating in our neighboring towns so sad,

“Trim, caulk, and paint help make me the carpenter I ain't". lol. It will look good anyway with the spaces. More of a rustic look. Plus, no one will be at the level looking. You will know but, in time it will stop hollering “look at me” lol. I think your right the island top looks like it matches. Looks neat and clean. Love that shade of cool brown.
Good job, I love the backsplash and I think even if there weren't any gaps I would have caulked it to make it look cleaner like you did :-) I would never have thought to put lights under an island it really makes a statement I love that too. The backsplash looks great. For some reason when you first put the poll up on them they looked darker, that's why I chose the white. But I was pleasantly surprised to see just how bright they were once you put them up. I have never had stick on tiles, mine are actual tiles, but yours look real too, and went on real easy 😁. The caulking makes them look even more real 👌. The puck lights look great too, I hope you have stocked up on batteries 😜. I started watching your channel a few months ago and you quickly became one of my favorite channel. You guys did a great job with that backsplash . Some creators just do cheap jobs when doing makeovers in their mobile homes and I just lose interest don’t and I seldom watch the entire vlog and I eventually unsubscribe . any where you have gaps in your back splash place white caulk apply with finger and wipe off with a rag it will fill in gaps and you will never tell the difference or that it was off any at all .

You can always do diy crafts with the leftover tiles. For the gaps, maybe try a darker caulk. It will blend in more.
Gray cabinets would look good in kitchen with your new back splash. Just a idea and love your new looks in your home your doing!
When you say I'm going to do this or that and I think "why it looks good like it is". Then you do your project and then I realize boy that makes it look great !!!!!! You do have a good eye ! 😊
The backsplash looks great! Really lightens up the kitchen. I had thought too it matched the island top before you said that! I kind of feel the same way about other peoples messes but think we are all humiliated when we pull our appliances out & see behind them as we don't do that often. The under cabinet puck lights look great too. The Hibachi looked delicious.
The dinner looks right up my alley! Crazy anyone would think carrying counter top up onto wall was ever a good idea. It looks really nice! Caulk job on point!
I think if u guys took off that board that's going across the window in the kitchen if ur able to do it, I think it would help open up that space even more. Just a suggestion 😁 the backsplash looks awesome
