Great video, even though it's 2 years by the time I see this.
However, You may not be aware of this, but a number of fans myself included unofficially believe that we saw 2 variations of the Hyperion class heavy cruiser on screen.
The Hyperion class itself, which was armed with Two Main Heavy Plasma Cannons and Eight Medium Plasma Turrets As the main weapons do we see on screen.
The others vessel is referred to as the Midwinter class variant. It was seen in season 3, episode 10 "Several Dreams," (the EAS Clarkstown) and the theory is that this variant got stronger armor and six Plasma Turrets were replaced with Pulse Laser Turrets and the two turrets on either side of the main hall, were replay with what a number fans called X-ray Laser Beam Cannons. So it could compliment the Omega class destroyer like the Hyperion class did for the Nova class

Unfortunately, I’m fairly certain the class got its name from the fit time it showed up. There is also a story that the original model was drawn on a napkin, can’t confirm if true or not.
It’s not a battle cruiser cause it pales other sci fi ships of its size
i used to watch this show 🤔 but even when it was out in the 90s i thought the special effects was so trash and cheap lol 😂 i thought it was so low grades low quality CGI, we had stuff like star trek and star wars wit far superior special effects, even the star wars from the 70s blew them away when it came to special effects
Yeah they haven’t held well, the story was excellent though. There’s a reboot coming next year that’s made by the same team that might be interesting
