I am glad you are reacting to this. I found it to be very compelling and entertaining, waiting each week for the next episode to be released and falling for the talent and charms of each trainee.
I think it might be helpful for you to know a little about the format of this series without giving any spoilers. It is presented over eight episodes, but actually episodes overlap. So the first three episodes are all happening at the same time over the course of a month. This is the "Blackpink Mission". Then the next episodes all take place over the course of the next month. All of the evaluation performances in each month actually happen on the same day even if they are presented in different episodes, so for example the "Blackpink" perfomance evaluations all take place on the last day of whatever month it was filmed (probably May 2022). This means the members are practicing multiple things each month (like a vocal performance and a dance performance, or a solo performance and a group performance and a dance performance). They practice and train like 10-12 hours a day, every day, maybe getting a day off every two weeks.
I also think you would like the four "Behind the Scenes" episodes for this series which show the trainees lives and interactions between training sessions. There are some fun moments in there that are worth seeing.
Anyway, I hope this helps as you watch the series. I really enjoy your reactions because you take such joy in the performances and seem to really appreciate the performers. You have a cute and fun vibe that keeps me coming back for your content

The reason why Pharita and Ahyeons throats hurts because that is very difficult to do. Real good singer will have a difficult time trying to preform it if and even can. Many professional vocal coaches have point this out as well.

Imagine if Pharita went ahead with the original part and she performed badly, that might resulted in her being kicked out.
Note that they are all assessed individually although it is a group performance.
Choice37 had been working with them for years hence he had a good idea on their vocal tones and ability.
If Ahyeon did badly in this part, she might be the one to be booted out.
At this stage yes, the seniors help their juniors, mentoring and encouraging. After debut different story. So far Blackpink has not congratulated any Baby Monster girls since their debut. It started with Batter Up, Baby Monster debut with 6 members was launched in November 2023 during Blackpink negotiations with YG to renew their contracts. Batter Up in baseball means, next batter to step up to bat. So right from the get go, we see a battle rap song from Baby Monster. Batter Up smashed 100 million in the fastest 100 million in kpop debut history ever. Blackpink signed their group contracts just before Batter Up crossed the 100 million views. Lets hope 2025 both groups renew their close friendships when Blackpink restart their group activities with YG. 2024 they are in competition with YG with their own personal solo labels.
@@getgreatstuff88getgreatstu8 It is true that no Blackpink members have publicly acknowledged or supported Babymonster since their debut. However, we know that Pharita and Lisa maintain a friendship. We know the OT6 girls attended Blackpink's concert in Seoul and also that Pharita and Chiquita attended their show in Bangkok (with Pharita bringing the Pinks a huge flower arrangement). We also know that Lisa's mom was with Pharita's mom in attendance at Babymonster's "See You There" fanmeet in Bangkok along with Chiquita's family also.
I do hope to see more support and interactions between the groups as Blackpink returns to group activities though, and also hope for some positive interactions with 2NE1 as they make their return this year. It would be great to see all the YG girl groups supporting each other as they are all so good and could be stronger together
@@TheSadpunk0 Lisa Rockstar dropped just 2 days before Forever launched. It took the wind out of Forever for around 10 days. Unfortunately not very friendly. Lisa flexed her muscles and YG announces a Blackpink comeback in 2025.

Even with that she became one of the biggest stars in the world. Between the "Rockstar" flex and Jennie's Beats by Dre dis track, the Pinks let YG know that it needs them much more than they need it and YG's share price and profits reflect that. I hope Yang Hyun Suk has learned from those mistakes and will be better to Babymonster. And to 2NE1 and Blackpink this time

@@hlimpui6645 The women of Blackpink have achieved a status and possess the talent to be successful pop stars and or actors on their own for sure, especially Jisoo as an actress and Lisa and Jennie as pop stars and possibly actresses too. Rose has the talent and the fame, but we haven't seen her impact as much outside of being a Pink so far.
However, apart from YG, their is no "group" of Blackpink. YG owns the name and the songs. I guess they could start with a new group name and a new album. They could still perform the songs live but would need to pay YG to release any versions of Blackpink songs. They have power as Balckpink because of their hard work, Teddy's great songs, and YG's promotion. I doubt they want to throw all that away which is why the negotiated a new contract for the group. Plus, I think the really do love and appreciate Blinks and want to keep making music for them even as they expand into more solo opportunities.
YG needed Blackpink more than Blackpink needed YG which is why he gave them the biggest contract ever, and it looks like Jennie, Jisoo, and Rosé were more than willing to resign for group activities. Lisa seemed more reluctant according to the rumors, but the other Pinks convinced her. It had to be all four or it was none according to things they said. So now we have them being solo and exploring where their fame and talent can take them and still have Blackpink every few years also. It is the best outcome for Blinks
They better fix their problem in vocals especially live performances.. Every Pop groups around are making their own mark now.. If they dont want to fall down they better go back the old days when they build the kpop culture..

No one confirm number of member for babymonster group. May be 3 may be 5 . That why in every month they show and keep own score.
In the final this score it tells you are in the team of babymonster or not.
That means you train so hard for all 2 or 4 year and in the end you may not be debuts or be another group.. and sure before 7 number in this Program that we see , more girl train as a trainee and someone is go to debut with other company as another group
