Mariam what style of embroidery are you doing?. Is it Rasht ? It's amazing how this goes back for centuries , back to 300 B.C.E and its still going strong.
Back then quilting also told a story, as it still does today. Back then embroidery were hung on the walls and often depict family life and the battles fought. I was blessed to view some of those at the British museum. I always had an interest in embroidery and it was part of my training as a young girl growing up. It would make a lovely table. I love to see that you are doing this it really adds something special to your Channel . To see you doing this in the midst of the chaos you are going through and see you still holding on to some peace.
