Utterly baffling that Gary was so rewarded for this. Sure, his flow was probably the best, but Dhers had great flow too, and did phenomenal tricks. And considering Nyquist usually gets praised for all his bar spins and 720s, that run that ends at 49: something should've definitely been higher than a 37. Not to mention it was better than the 40 he got in his heat. Really hated the judges here. :/

Such bullshit judging lol... Daniel Sandoval threw some of the biggest tricks and had great runs, though didn't even move on to the finals... Sergio Layos did' throw any tricks really, other than inverts and tables, maybe a couple tail whips... Way too biased
After 14 mins I started to wonder if in this challenge wins the one with the lowest score. How come Casey does all these tricks and still gets a 24? I really don't get it
so young and nyquist have flow locked down tighter that a nuns undies but surely the dificulty level of their runs especialy youngs wasnt high... there was a run when he fell on his ass and got 37 :O and on the run were the only thing he got was one sketchy whip on the spine .. 13 more like 2
the reason gary won is due to the clean runs he had, rather watch clean runs than fucking flip whip case landing and ryan nyquist who gets high scores just due to the fact hes so old. look at the course its a bowl, gary flows bowls so smooth, these others are thinking lets do crazy tricks and then they case most big tricks so fuck that.
i dont understand the judges sometimes..how can a guy like scotty does flip whips and daniel dhers does 720 bars and then a fuckin guy like gary which does nothing but running around the course and win :O wtf man??
Two be honest ryqust is a talented guy but I think he only gets high scores now because he's be in the game for long and it's out of respect. The only tricks he does are barspins and 720's.he lacks variety

it kills me how Nyquist gets such high scores, i really just hate his style. he does nothing but truck drivers and bar spins and gets better scores than 90% of people which just isnt fair. there is people out there throwing front flairs and corked 720's and there actng like that barspin 540 is the gnarliest trick they have ever seen. Its such a joke, rant over. just had to say it, sorry all you Nyquist fans.

In my opinion, in events like these, judging is based on flow, speed, and lines of the run.
there is categories and tricks are only a fraction of the score, park is style and flow more than it is bangers.

Flow is only a 1/5 or a 1/4 of the overall score there's other categories to judge on otherwise it would be called BMX cruise not park
