No, alleria is not unique, no she can't do jackshit by embracing her nature and no azeroth is not doomed since the player character does 99% of all the work.
Didn't illidan already said there can be no chosen one?
Still they keep doing this.... Tirion, thrall, anduin, yrel, calia, etc.... unless we play the chosen one like we did in wc3, it just feels like these characters are the main heroes instead of us players

Well... It is quite... difficult to make players' characters to be actual protagonists due to the nature of an MMO like wow. Don't get me wrong, I do think they have been doing a pretty bad job inserting our characters' accomplishments and importance in the story, though. And about Alleria, I think it is less of a "chosen one" and more of: "You are the only one who can get the job done cause you understand both void and light". You know, 'cause she is married to Turalyon and fought with the Army of the Light for so long and now she is a Void Elf.

stfu xD End of BFA, they made you be the one who shoot laser at Nzoth and destory it, was lame.
In Shadowland, They made you be the chosen one and you have the connection with Azeroth so the artifact of the first one resonate with you and you become maw walker and all bullshit, it was lame.
It is always more cringe and lame if its you the Champion that is chosen one, it's better when there is "Key Figures" among the famous NPCs. and these people are not chosen one, they just "Key figures" their ability is needed for defeating whats to come. and it make sens for different enemies, different Key figures exist.

Atleast shadowlands mentioned we weren't the only maw Walker....
I feel like the whole 'chosen one' is overdone....neither us nor the NPCs should have this singular chosen one weight on their shoulders....
But seeing as how Blizzard are failing at the whole 'team effort' scenario as well (end of amirdrassil), I'm guessing there is no correct answer
