Do you feel Parineeti Chopra didn’t get enough good opportunities?
Not really. She got many opportunities from some of the top directors and producers like Yahs Raj Films, Dharma Productions, Balaji films, T series, Rohit Shetty, Dibakar Banerjee etc.
The reason why her career unfortunately went through a downfall was because the box office was poor. For eg, Kill dil, Meri pyaari Bindu, Jabariya Jodi, Namestey England, Sania nehwal biopic, Tiranga, The girl on the train, Sandeep aur pinky faraar, all flopped.
Plus many of these films came back to back, the only one which made money was golmaal 4.
And truthfully even her acting in films like The girl on the train and Sania Nehal biopic was very bad. But I really loved her acting in Sandeep aur Pinky and Chamkila.

No. She got the best breaks - Ladies Vs Ricky Behl, Ishaqzaade, Shudh Desi Romance, Hasee Too Phasee! She was managed by YRF talent, so don’t understand why she’s complaining and portraying herself as a victim here. She refused films like Piku as she didn’t find Shoojit or Irfan exciting back then. She began to model herself after Katrina Kaif - lost weight, attempted to go sexy which backfired majorly. Also, she was on automation in all her subsequent films starting from Meri Pyari Bindu. She had the best opportunities and she fucked it up with poor decisions and not being earnest to her craft. It’s good that she’s realised that one needs to work hard after chamkila, but to paint herself as someone who hasn’t gotten opportunities is BS. We can still believe these lines coming from Sanya Malhotra and Fatima Sana Sheikh, not Parineeti!

Most underrated actress ever her initial 4 films ricky bhl ,shudh desi , ishaqzaade,hassi phassi she was superb miles ahead of any one then bad choice and luck she goes out
Her popularity was never highlighted not even performances. Because people were busy promoting Alia, it a PR game and with Karan johar by her side from day1 Alia had best of the opportunities. So much her dumb performances like in bhramastra is also praised by PR, filmfare for Rocky rani, where she was awful in dance acting everything

She is one of the finest in Bollywood with full of energy and talent. She can do roles very naturally.
I totally beleive that Papa Jo had particulartly sidelined Pari and shradhha to establish Alia in a much better way .with no hate towards aalia

The character is played in Ricky Bahl, ishaqzaade,shudh Desi and hassi phassi si was unbelievable real and natural no one was near to her and all film were hit in rows and she outshine all her male lead after that yrf films and extremely poor choice is what made her out

It's so funny that Pinkvilla reporter is asking her how to stop favoritism while their own channel's stakes were bought in Feb 2022 by Kjo to only post about Alia and Rk wedding till April 2022..and then keep on hyping it till sept 2022 for brahmastra. They spent crores to post about rk alia literally on daily basis. Also they were instructed not to post about some individuals ..for eg Pinkvilla has not covered a single film / media appearance or interviewed Kangana Ranaut since February 2022 till date. Not a single article about Kangana by Pinkvilla can be found after February 2022 till March 2024. Same way KJo also made Filmfare stop posting about Kangana since Sept 2020. So when Media portals work hand in gloves with these mafia people and they exactly know how certain actors/directors pay lumpsum amounts for their own positive PR and for other actor's Negative PR..they shouldn't pose such questions in Interviews.
Parineeti is really very talented.. Alia, Kiara and Kriti are getting too many opportunities because of camps n all....
Unfortunate truth what talented actors, male and female, face everyday especially when these talents are NOT part of any camps... or even when they have had a falling out in a camp! THis is unfortunately the culture in Bollywood movies... and nepotism is still and will always be a major issue

She is right. There are certainly camps and favouritism in Bollywood. Alia and her had a similar trajectory at the start and she had a much bigger start than her initially in 2013-14. But then there was Dharma backing for Alia in her whole career, whereas she didn't get ao much opportunities or good projects at that time.

She is good but the reason why audience stopped watching her movies is because she was being repetitive especially in her dialogue delivery and tonality. People were tired of watching the same acting and it was annoying. However she did a good job in Sandeep and Pinky Faraar and now Chamkila

Her performance in Chamkila was not that good. She couldn't bring the jovial nature of Amarjot. Amarjot had a jovial nature and always had a smile on her face while singing. Parineeti, you are actually a pathetic actress..

He repeatedly brought up parineeti against Alia after stundent of the year in koffee with Karan and his guests always picked Alia over parineeti. Alia wouldn’t be where she is after stundent of the year if not for Karan joha that is a fact! Kriti more beautiful and as talented if not more was even given opportunities like Alia was

As far as kriti is concerned, sure alia is more privileged than her but kriti has her own privilege as well. She also come from a well to do family.
And like alia did multiple films with some directors and producers, kriti also has done 8 films with Dinesh Vijan and 3 with laxman utekar, 3 or 4 with Sajid nadiwala. So no point being a hypocrite.
Plus most of alia's films are hit films. Only shandaar and kalank are flops.
Kriti on the other hand, has long list of flop films like Raabta, Arjun patiala, Panipat, Bacchan Pandey, Bhediya, Ganpath part 1, Shezada, Adipurush.
And I genuinely feel than alia is a better actor too. Notice the difference the command on accent that alia showed in udta punjab and gully boy and compare that with mimi. There's a certain inconsistency in the diction in mimi. Even critics had pointed it out at the time.
Kriti's jealously of alia is getting too much now and its sucja hypocritical thing to do to troll alia for doing films with karan johar, when kriti too has good backing from Dinesh vijan and Sajid nadiwala.

Parineeti is a good actress but you shouldn't blame it on camps or other things..There are genuine actors in the industry like Nawazuddin, Vijay Verma and others too who don't have any solid PR and are doing fantastic roles in OTT and Cinema..Bad PR is just not the case but bad choices that you made..Now suddenly you are blaming others to not get opportunities. Also I would like to mention that you shouldn't get obsessed with your singing and focus more on acting..I loved you from day 1, I hope you get good work now.
