Absolutely amazing, Dean is a treasure to Collective Soul (and as a person) and I have no idea why people still give him shit for being a rhythm guitarist. It's so old... every great band needs someone like Dean to fill those crucial roles. Besides, he's such a loving guy. I talked to him for an entire hour at a casino once and he gave me 2 huge hugs and his $101 voucher from his game before we left. I spent it on a tattoo so I'd never forget his kindness. What a solid guy, as Collective Soul is by nature!

Cant wait to see Collective Soul in Lake Charles next month. I really like that change up just before the guitar solo on "Cut The Chord"..great tune...great band...and they seem like genuine people not caught up in the excess and such...peaceful days to all
