IRA Volunteers Jim Bryson & Paddy Mulvenna remembered at Milltown Cemetery event

  • Belfast Brigade, Irish Republican Army Volunteers Jim Bryson and Paddy Mulvenna who were killed by the British Army while on active service in Ballymurphy in 1973 were remembered by a large crowd of family, friends and comrades at a wreath laying ceremony at the republican plot in Milltown cemetery.
    Joe Austin chairperson of the Belfast National Graves Association who spoke at the event praised Jim and Paddy's courage and resilience in the face of overwhelming British crown forces and that of their comrades who gave their lives in the cause for Irish Freedom.
