Very nicely explained. I want to add one more point is that as you alter the direction of column as per architectural drawing you must apply the same on beam also.
There is no need to orient the beam since only the width of the beam is connected to the column.

How can we include lintel load and plinths in the modelling??
Talking about the duplicate beams addition for avoiding improper meshing. It appears that without the longitudinal long duplicate beams also, you could have done proper meshing easily for atleast top 4 plates. Can u please explain madam why it could not be possible? Had it not the modelling been made little complicated?

What is the benefit to convert any plate into mesh plate

Well everything is right but while assigning beams the orientation was incorrect
This happened because you didn't check the beta angle it was set to 90°
Which can be seen in the rendering view so please correct that 🙏
I just need some explanation on why have u done it on FEM method please

Ma'am its seems very complicated to add the columns in Staad. Too many lines in a disorganized fashion. any easy solutions for that as in ETABS?
It is not like that.If you understand the framing plan properly it is easy to add column in staad as well as in etabs.
@@CivilEngineeringMastery Staad's modelling interface is not good, cant go between storeys, or easily edit beams at any desired storeys..
For 2D Frames or structurtal analysis, it is good, but for 3D frames its very tedious

Please convert auto cad(dwg) file into dxf before importing to Staad.pro.
instead of doing individual plate mesh modeling, why don't u go for parametric modeling under geometry tab and create all plate mesh at a single click of a mouse button.... Thank u.....

The concept is large face of column for larger moments.yes it is not possible in all situations to provide 180 degree.In that cases we have to provide proper reinforcement and column size.
I'm following the same steps. Plan is importing correctly but when I translation repeat it, it's not getting replicated.
What might be the issue kindly help.
Try again and enter the value in y direction how much distance you want to replicate.

yes, it should be in single layer and you have to convert auto cad drawing into dxf file before import to staad.pro.

And could we use plate instead of mesh?
A slab has to be modeled using a mesh of plates. You should not model it using a single plate element because if you do so, the slab will only connect to the rest of the structure at the corners. So if you have beams along the edges and columns at the four corners of the slab, the slab would only connect to the columns but not to the beams. Hence the load from the slab will be transferred to the columns directly without bothering the beams and so the load path would not be accurate.

But in many other videos on some other channels, they just used a single plate instead of a mesh of plates. So are they doing it incorrectly?

There will not be any effects on the continuity of beams.
I do not have comments about others.But the main concept is we have to follow the proper load transfer mechanism.

Why we can change the plate into the plate mesh
You should not model it using a single plate element, we have beams along the edges and columns at the four corners of the slab.The slab would only connect to the columns but not to the beams if we do not mesh the plates. Hence the load from the slab will be transferred to the columns and so the load path would not be accurate.
Load path
Slab to beam,beam to column and column to footing.
After importing replication is not working properly what we have to do

Proper load transfer between structural elements.The loads can be assigned on required slab area.
