    I don't understand people who dislike them and say "if they not claim as kpop idols I'll like them" like wtf? You love Kpop idols because they claimed as Kpop? Like you need to love Kaachi for what they are! And plus, it's rediculous for me too say that to make kpop you need to be under Korean agency, like Korean agency learn you to dance, to sing and to speak more hardly that usual foreign agency, but that not change the fact that that it's a dance sing language training. We can do this kind of thing every where we want if one label want to do it in foreign countries. And see that people want her to improve is good, but kpop agency are harsh and even some Korean who is talented never début when others just debut in few month (Like one of Exo of LOONA). They be choose by a kpop agency based in UK to be a Kpop group? What is the problem? They speak Korean, two of the members speak fluent and why they should talk in Korean when now they need to speak for foreign? They use universal language it's normal guys.

    • @Sandpiles1452
      @Sandpiles1452 4 года назад

      The difference between them and kpop groups is that kpop groups actually have good talent... Also Loona’s situation is different from theirs, Olivia Hye (1 day trainee) have danced since she was 6 yo and already was a skilled dancer, and Yves (trained for 2 weeks I think) used to be a trainee under another company before she joined bbc. I don’t know that much about Exo situation but they clearly had enough talent to debut and can keep up with hard choreography. I don’t think the point is that you HAVE to train for 8 years, but more that you should at least have the basic dancing/singing skills.

    • @HappyCECoversEtFun
      @HappyCECoversEtFun 4 года назад +1

      @@Sandpiles1452 But they I've dance skills, since 6 years like if you look at their dance Cover in UJJN they dance really well. But of course they can't be like Korean Idols it's not the same training but this is not a reason for not doing kpop like their are better and less better in every kind of music so for me they can do Kpop even it's not the same quality as Korean agency.

      @God it isn't letting me reply to this specific comment but I hope you see this. Kaachi is definitely not k-pop, they've had only 3 months of training where in reality k-pop idols train for years and years to even get a chance to debut, these girls have no strong singing or rapping talent, their dancing is decent but most the time it is out of sync with eachother. Normal k-pop artists are amazing singers and dancers as well as rappers. It's fair enough if you don't enjoy the music because everyone has preferences but please understand we do not count this as k-pop and I'm actually annoyed it got showed on channel 4 because its ridiculous 😂

      @@BLC7208 I didn't think you did count it as k-pop i didn't think anyone did. And yes you are right, I don't like k-pop because outside of their dancing (which I don't really at all care about as I much prefer the instrumental and lyrical ability to what ever they are doing during the song outside of instrumental solos) and singing ability, which is debatable sometimes as ones I've managed to put up with lip sync live, or aren't as good as other vocalist (as in standouts) I've seen and they aren't very good lyricists. And the thing I don't like about the genre most really is their massive lack of ability to play instruments well at all or even play an instrument. but I do know what they have to go through and I know the origin of the genre and I respect it, it's just not my cup of tea as some one who plays a lot of instruments and is pretty good at it I prefer stuff that is very good and challenging to do and not really simple when it comes to the guitar, bass, drums and I suppose keys, and not that I do it, but lyrics that make you think or are just really good are really nice. And I've never found a k-pop band that fill any of these things for me but even then I prefer a lot 80s pop, indie, alt-rock, prog rock, prog-metal, post punk, punk, a little bit of pop-punk but leaning more into punk, bluesy rock, psychodelic rock, and that sort of stuff.

    Okay first I understand that Kpop is not based on your ethnicity, but all the idols that are not from Korea train the same as any other Kpop idol in South Korea for many years, not only they have to keep up with training but also have to go through Korean lessons at the same time to be fluent in the language. Sometimes they are put through a lot of pressure just because they are foreigner. All kpop idols including foreigners go through so much training, including dancing, singing and strict dieting. And this can result in the trainee feeling tired physically and mentally to the point of committing suicide. Most of kpop groups don't even get a chance to debut after years of training as the competition is high. I just don't find it fair that these girls are labeling themselves as a Kpop group mainly because when they promote themselves as a kpop group they are at competition with groups that are already in the industry such as BTS, BLACKPINK, ATEEZ, EXO, MOMOLAND and so many other amazing groups, these groups perform at an idol level, I mean they look professional, they spend their time looking at their best when dancing, they keep trying to be the best they can be and also their outfit and background in their music videos is outstanding. Whereas in the Kaachi music video, to me it looked at a youtuber level, and the fact that they didn't even complete their choreography just makes me think this for them is just a joke. I do understand they couldn't follow the training they do in Korea because they said it would be illegal in the UK but they should have at least put more effort. They do not deserved to be called a kpop idol, I do understand that they love kpop but they could label themselves just as a normal girl group and say that they were inspired by their love for kpop.

Idols MV is inspired by African style... So that is a Culture appropriation? Be mature guys they try to do what they love like anyone else, they been choose they not made this alone, they where lucky to have this opportunity and I hope more people will try. They're not Koreaboo, cause they never rejected their own origins and really learn actually the language.
    And for me in a Korean industry, after seeing BlackPink in Yg which make moneyon this poor girls when they don't really care about them and BlackPink and Blinks which want to have more music when they released 1 comeback per year, who look really exhausted (or simply bored) in some performances,and all Kpop idols I seen exhausted because of the hard (sometimes illegal) work they have because of their agency pressure and when I saw idol like Jungkook from BTS obligated to do concert on a chair because he can take rest when he's sick (I was really truly heart broken) or simply see all the unfair things (when some people are trainees for 9 years and some be idols just in few months... Like uuuh) that idols need to do to being idols and where your own company judge you because of you weight (Exemple for JYP with Twice member) and more and more exemple who show that Korean agency the most of the time sucks, I'm happy to see that this girls will stay healthy in a UK kpop agency and tried their best even when they dont have same money as Korean agency. I'm glad that they are not under Korean agency yes, fucking glad. Even they can have the talent of Everglow, Itzy or more in Korean agency (they'll not then) , they will and I'm sure of it, will ne be health and care respected in some ways when some Idols aren't. The most important for me in group that I support is health and happiness of the member, and sometimes (or most of the times) Korean agency forget this in a way that they train them until they collapse. Of course it's not in all companies and groups, but hey this kind of training worth it at the end when we saw kpop jus make bop but I'm never happy to see how they are unhealthy and sometimes unhappy of their situation

      Like I don't listen to kpop myself, but it doesn't check any of the criteria that would classify it as kpop (e.g. lyrics being korean, majority of the members being korean, agency/choreographers being based in korea, etc).
      I don't think most people are trying to be rude, I just think they're confused since this group is only taking small elements of kpop like fashion/choreography styles and then labelling the group as "kpop" when all the band really is is the bare bones of kpop stereotypes. Kpop is Korean Pop for a reason: it refers to the pop scene in South Korea, which is very different to the pop scene in the West. People are reacting because it doesn't make any sense logically speaking lol. It's like taking red and calling it blue, you know? Sorry for the long comment btw.

      People aren't annoyed because they're Westerners, there are others who aren't Asian and in the K-pop industry (e.g. Lana), but Kaachi haven't had the proper dance, vocal and Korean language training in order to become K-pop idols. It can be perceived as insulting to those idols who have trained for years in Korea. That's why people are annoyed.

    People just see the difference
    Your turn which was produced by melted Ken doll while
    photomagic which is made by help of Johnny
    Their second song showed a lot of improvement because of which they are getting more support if they would have still been with oil Ken doll then he would have ruined their career

    please don't hate them. i believe kpop is just the language, and their song's lyrics are in korean. i do think there is a lot of kpop fan who also wants to be a kpop idol but they just arent ready yet to move to korea /doesn't have the money yet to debut as a kpop idol in korea, so why would you hate a new way for debuting as a kpop idol? CMIIW :)

    My issue with this group is not the fact that they are not Korean or live in Korea. My issue is that they’re not all fluent in Korean and they’re first “Kpop” song was mostly in English. They’re vocals aren’t very strong, the rapping is no better, the mixing of the song is lackluster, and they need more practice with they’re dance. I don’t think they’re ready to debut as an English group or a Korean group. In my opinion they need more training/practice. I’m saying this not be insulting, but as criticism.They seem like a nice group of girls, and if they continue in this direction I hope they do some rebranding.
