I think repetition is the same reason people find celebrities attractive. There are equally attractive people working at the local mall or supermarket, but we don't have the opportunity to stare at them on TV screens or in magazines constantly.
Repetition is merely one of many things which goes into the formula of making a hit song. It is the formula which makes hit songs. Which is why so many hit songs are so formulaic. It is why people who like good music don't care about whether or not a song is a hit. Hit songs are by definition pandering to the lowest common denominator.
The hits in these days has nothing to do with honest music! For me the real news comes from the metal music, i like all kind. Maybe its my age, 59 now.
Yes don’t worry. No funny business. A friend and I are investigating the issue further based on what he’s seeing in his channel (he sees 4000). I will re upload / make a new video based on checking with more creators
Bottom line: not me, not you, certainly not Beato, nobody knows what makes a song popular. If he did, he'd be the richest, most popular and in-demand producer on earth. He is not. People love to explain WHY a hit became a hit in retrospect, particularly Beato. But ask him what he thinks WILL be a hit usimg the same criteria and it is blatantly obvious. He doesn't know any better than anybody else what makes a hit. Neither do the artists, producers, record companies, influencers. Nobody. An interesting video, but ultimately a pipe dream. If all it took was money to make a hit, the music industry would be the most lucrative business on earth. Money helps, if course, but there is no formula. There never will be, either.
You still need a good song. Advertising can't prevent flops. Can you analyze why everyone hates Katy Perry now? Lady Gaga's career after her first two albums was a disappointment. Why is Chappell Roan and Sabrina Carpenter so hot now? Justin Timberlake's last 2 albums flopped. Taylor Swift's last album was big, but strange because there are no massive hits from it.
I think it’s not as much advertising as sheer reach . More reach gives the chance the potential to become a hit which most songs don’t get because they don’t get the reach

Miles Davis Sketches of Spain is actually quite repetitive
You are actually right. Should have picked a different album but Sketches is my favourite
Your video on RUclips ...- has disappeared. The last video
