I'm fact, taking France as a good exemple, I think GFP is a very limited ranking without rigorous and objective parameters to evaluate, effectively, countries militarily

And why do you think that? You have just seen the stats….And where were the French in Iraq and Afghanistan? What do they ever do outside of tiny African states (colonies). Réserve personnel britannique réel ou exagéré ? Cela expliquerait le rank surdimensionné et incohérent entre les pays. D'après les infos que j'ai pris les réserves britannique ne dépasse pas les 77 000 soldats ... Bien au dessus de l' Allemagne et le France mais cela explique pas la différence de rank ?...

As someone who recently applied for the army, these statistics from my own research have been blown out of proportion.
All this highlights is how inefficiently the UK defence budget is spent, and how much is wasted. They are only measuring a country’s military power by the amount spent and not by the effect of that spending. France clearly has the edge on UK and better value for the money.
When you say submarines 10 for the UK, does that include the nuclear powered the most advanced subs in the world.

On à plus d'avion d'attaque au sol pur mais plutôt des avions omnirole, on avait le mirage F1 à une époque.

Justement si on compte le rafale comme omnirole et d'avion d'attaque au sol on le compte deux fois le même.
Ensuite un avion omnirole rôles sera moins efficace dans le soutien au sol qu'un mirage F1, un A10 et un SU 25, donc c'est encore plus pertinent de ne pas le compter dans deux catégories différentes.

🇩🇪 Paramilitary Forces = 0 is wrong. We have the Bundespolizei (formerly know als "Bundesgrenzschutz/Federal Border Defence Force) with about 45k Officers. They are considered Combatants in case of a war. They are equipted with infantry weapons and light armoured Vehicules.
The more the government spends on its military the more the working class suffer affecting basic services.
U.K. has biggest budget and lowest amount except for Air craft carriers 😂
Plus our Defence budget is going up to around 100 billion dollars. We have ordered 138 F35Bs Lightning jet's Feb 6th 2024. Plus in 2022 the UK was the 2nd biggest Defence Spender in NATO. Its not how many you have. It's what you have. The best Nuclear submarines in the world.
And the one extra aircraft carrier is a huge asset

It's interesting to note that greater numbers almost always doesn't mean "better". The French, for example, have many more planes than the RAF but the quality of the British planes is far superior than the bulk of the French airforce. A similar example would be Argentina who had far more aircraft in The Falklands War than the British in that theatre of operation, yet the British virtually wiped them out. Quantity is always helpful, but the quality of what you have is by far the most important.
