Leśna Chata Recreation Center
Jastrowie (German Jastrow) - a city in the province. Greater Poland, in the Złotów poviat. The royal village belonged to the Ujskie starosty, at the end of the 16th century it was located in the Poznań poviat of the Poznań voivodship. In the years 1975-1998 the city administratively belonged to the province. Piła.
Jastrowie is located on the edge of the Gwda River valley on the Oska River in the vicinity of hills called Jastrowskie Hills. The area of ​​the present city in the 10th century belonged to the Piast state. Jastrowie and its surroundings are the eternal grounds of fights between the Piast dukes of Greater Poland, the Pomeranian Griffin family and the Brandenburg margraves.
The first records of Jastrobe date back to 1363, and in 1530 the name Jastrowo was written for the first time. According to another hypothesis, two villages were founded on both banks of the Młynówka. In the years 1565-1569, Poles forcibly incorporated the tiny settlement into their Jastrowie.
During the reign of Casimir the Great, the Polish state drove the Brandenburgers out of these areas, and Jastrowie and its adjoining lands found themselves in the economically and politically strong Ujsko-Piła starosty, which was separated from the Wałcz County in 1560.
From 1879, Jastrowie had its local newspaper, where you could read, among others official orders, current news and announcements. On June 6, 1812, the Tabakfabrik H.E factory was established. Simon. In 1900, Jastrowie was electrified, and in 1929-1931, a dam with a hydroelectric power plant was built on the Gwda River.
Before 1939, there were two shoe factories in the city, a cloth factory, a cardboard factory, a cigar factory, a concrete plant, a brick factory, a machine building plant, a sawmill, a hydroelectric power plant and a municipal power plant.
On February 2, 1945, Jastrowie was captured by the 4th and 6th Infantry Divisions of the 1st Army of the Polish Army. Part of the city was destroyed in two days of fighting and 120 Polish soldiers were killed, with 241 wounded and 15 missing, and the German 32nd SS Grenadier Regiment (3rd Latvian) suffered such significant losses that it was disbanded. As a result of the Potsdam Conference of 1945, Jastrowie returned to Poland, and its German population was displaced.
Ośrodek Wypoczynkowy Leśna Chata is located by a beautiful lake surrounded by a forest. Here you will find peace, quiet and relaxation. Leśna Chata is located far from the city center. The resort is located in a beautiful pine tree right next to the shoreline of the lake and a sandy beach. Here you will rest both passively lazing on the beach or walking along forest paths, and actively, taking advantage of the advantages of nature, the proximity of the lake, water sports, Nordic walking and bicycles.
The center and the hotels are situated by the quiet and clean Lake Leśne in the Gwda River Valley. Leśna Chata is a charming place for rest, relaxation and a successful holiday with the family. It is an ideal place for people who want to lose weight and improve their physical fitness.
The Leśna Chata resort offers not only access to a guarded, sandy beach with water in the first class of purity, but also a stay in a SPA with a sauna, scent of oils, massage and full relaxation for the body and soul. A large forest complex, bicycle paths, sports and floating equipment: bicycles and canoes, and a playground for children. The advantage of the center is the perfect topographic location and nature reserves guaranteeing communing with the beauty of nature.
There is also a common room with a TV, water equipment rental and bicycle rental. There is also a campsite with full facilities, a beach volleyball court and a guarded bathing beach with floating equipment.

Stay in the center (accommodation + full board) - summer camps: 55, Apartments; 4-, 5-, 6-person cottages (each: bathroom, toilet, shower); Accommodation pavilion for 24 people
Gwda Valley nature reserve - a landscape reserve established by the regulation of the Minister of Environmental Protection, Natural Resources and Forestry of December 21, 1998. It covers an area of ​​424.60 ha. , forming river meanders and floodplain terraces and ravines, as well as alder and forest with numerous ancient and stately trees ".
The specific water-forest-swamp vegetation and elements of regional buildings directly related to forest settlement and the system of the currently damaged infrastructure of energy devices regulating the flow of water through the valley are protected.
