Spoiler Alert The reason the Orks attacked Armageddon twice with the two biggest waaaghs in the galaxy is because it's one of the most important planets to them. It's where the emperor fought the biggest of most cunning warboss in existence. Emps would have been killed too if it wasn't for Horus saving him.

I am trained as a historian and I must say, this lore project of yours is fantastic! There is enough lore content in the W40K universe I could develop an entire college course and still not be able to cover it all. The Horus Hersey would be a great course to take and teach. Well done!

This is good stuff... I've watched 6 of your vids so far (tyranids, space marine creation, bolters, and creation of the imperium series 1 & 2) this one, and really enjoy it. I've been reading Black Library fiction for years and years, and playing the Space Hulk board game in various versions for 20+ years also. Thanks for taking the time to do this, I think even my two boys would be able to sit still and listen to some of these with rapt attention, they are so well done with cool images mixed in with apropos music as well. Forgeworlds totally have mindbogglingly huge populations of ordinary humans, they are essentially a hive world that has been even further industrialized. I mean where do you think all those tech-priests, enginseers and skiitari come from? They don't just pop out of the ground.

There is so much potential for a rpg set in WH40K. Imagine growing up in a hive city then entering into a role that means you explore all the horrors and wonders of that city. then somehow getting off planet and seeing xenos for the first time. it would give the fans a way of seeing the empire as a citizen would. just let your imagination do the rest of the work of where this could go.
As a player of dark heresy and rogue trader, I find it hard sometimes to get to actual roleplay. While epic in scale, the 40k universe has an undertone of irony. This, combined with the fact that players often read a lot about the universe, whilst its inhabitants worship ignorance, often leads to the rpg just ending hillarious.
40k currently has 5 paper and pen rpgs: Dark Heresy - for inquisitors Rogue Trader - for Rogue Traders and pirate fans Black Crusade - for chaos and heretics fans Deathwatch - for Space Marines fans Only War - for Imperial Guard fans All done by games workshop, Hope that helps :)

Great video I have even been watching your old lore videos and I have to say they are one of the best warhammer 40k lore videos out there, thank you for all of your hard work that gose in to them I can't wait to see more of them.
you do a great job on these videos lutin plz keep em up. And I like the shorter format too, I think a lot of people were put off by the over an hour format so this is good.
I imagine they are a lot less intensive to produce too! I do love the long format though. I love listening to them while I'm doing something else like cleaning!
