Yeah, it'll probably work depending on how its done. But generally, robots are robots, it's likely more a robot would like particular features (or types of human). Would also work if they're confused on whether they're machine and are trying to mimic humans, etc. But we do know what they were going for here was to just throw anything in for "representation" with no zero thought but taken seriously.
So, apparently Sony pulled an Ubisoft with Concord. I guess that's the only way game studios can sell their slop nowadays. Hi-Fi Rush on the other hand, was an instant hit despite being shadowdropped, with no marketing campaign at all.
Every single aspect of how this game is made, who made it and how much it cost to make it just incredible to me. When you know the amount of franchises that Sony just has sitting off to the side untouched, it disgusts me. Again, especially something like days gone 2, come on. They had the perfect opportunity to redeem that game and its franchise, but they were like nah.
I've seen a bunch of these hero shooters come out recently and it confuses me. Because to me it seems like these developers are trying to ride on the hype of overwatch like 7 years too late.

I am in full agreement with you, but let's take a step back. For years, we've said, "Stop hijacking our stuff." They did when they made Concord. They made their own game, using their own virtues, and represented the things they believed needed to be represented. So the question they should be asking themselves is, Why was Concord stillborn? Why did all these underrepresented people not flock to this game with open wallets. They will use the usual scape goats distractions, but if they are willing to look at the truth. Those underrepresented people don't want anything to do with the representation Concord is providing, and they are called underrepresented for a reason. Their coveted underrepresented people can not replace an entire player base once you alienate that player base because there is not enough underrepresented people to replace the player base.
The fact that I, someone who does very much stay up to date on what's happening in the gaming industry, have never heard of this game until now says enough about this game.
I tried the game on the beta and it wasn't just the characters and all the stuff for "modern audiences" that was bad, the weapons are horrible some take two whole magazines to kill a low health hero and the performance on PC was atrocious, there is no way of salvaging this game
the funny part is, i'm wondering if the wokeness was actually the least of the problems. from the sounds of it (0:48), the game just straight up didn't play very well fundamentally

It was definitely an interesting idea, a game made for beta men has a beta test for betas. My wife was out all night on a date and after I got her 3 kids to bed I had a blast playing the beta for betas.
