Well I for one most certainly try to sound deep, because your perception of my person is most important for my self confidence. I would even go so far as to say that strangers-on-the-internet opinions about me are pretty much the center point of my self-perception. So be a dear, give me a clap on the shoulder and tell me what a clever, smart, sexy guy I am, would you?
At my current movie life span, this is my top 5 favorite films. 1. Interstellar (2014) 2. Arrival (2016) 3. Inception (2010) 4. The Martian (2015) 5. Avatar (2009) With that in hand, Interstellar was the most impactating movie of all time in my life due to the current situation I was in when I saw it. I do not believe anyone can top this except Christopher Nolan himself. He will probably knock out Avatar out of my top 5 just with DUNKIRK.
But you told, no to you but for me and the other we are a species that share knologe and you pass to me. Study if you wanna touch the stars. I say to you thank you.
Not really because it only explores a part which is usually interesting to everyone black holes. Otherwise it depends on you interest. I find some physics shit. Dont like it. But some bits are really interesting.
*spoiler* That moment when he sees his daughter after all that time in space, all those years gone on earth, powerful moment. "No parent should have to watch their own child die, I have my kids here now" Made me tear.
But when she was 40years old in the movie she didnt had kids. When she made kids, that made kids that made more kids?? Bc there was so many ppl on her side
This song absolutely kills me. Every time I hear it I’m consumed with this feeling I can’t explain. It makes me think of my dad. We didn’t have the best relationship growing up and my heart literally tears to pieces every time I hear it, but at the same time it’s very comforting and gives me hope. Just something I can’t explain. I always think of the scene when this song plays and he says don’t let me leave Murph, and I just start sobbing. I imagine my dad saying this to me. This entire movie score is one of the best gifts ever given to earth. Thank you Hans Zimmer for being able to create pieces of music that explain exactly how we feel without using words. So beautiful yet so tragic. Just wow
This song reminds me of the incomprehensible nature of the universe. Its size, its laws and its very nature. We are so small as humans, yet still so large.
Moments I cried during the movie: When Murph runs out at the last second crying for her dad. When Cooper watches years worth of videos. When Cooper is screaming for Murph to make him stay. When Cooper reunites with Murph and she says "Because my dad promised me" I probably shed a couple more tears at the end because of how beautiful this movie was, that by chance I experienced it in IMAX.
"but I knew you'd come back..." "How?" "Because my Dad promised me." GOD I HAVE NEVER CRIED THAT HARD IN A MOVIE. Except Arrival, Arrival got me really bad too.
Gorgeous picture. The pain the daughter endured was captivated so well. Both actors were incredibly believable. I grew to dislike Mathew Mac-whatever because I had only seen him in those comedy romantic flicks where he acts like an a-hole, but he managed to completely sell me the idea that he was Coop, the loving and devoted father.
yeah, so I recommend all of his films after 2011....all of them are 10/10... he is brilliant, but he needed time to be recognised and to be given good roles..ljust ike Leo, or Brad....they both are much better now, than back then in the romantic/ (comedy) era...
people talking about how emotional and original movie it was, but you don't realize how beautiful that movie is when it comes to science of this. everything - wormholes, gravitational pull of black holes curving spacetime, existence of higher dimensions - all of this was so interesting and beautiful to me. 10/10, sad i couldn't see it in a cinema.
I was in the theatre...and I fuckkkinnggg skipped it for exodus...no offense...that was also a masterpiece...but this is my ism...and I soryyyyyyy for the language
This movie and this sound track has actually changed the way I look at my life. It makes me rethink of my actions and what my purpose is. This soundtrack very powerful and this movie is the best movie i have seen until now
The best movie i have ever seen. Incredibly touching and very thought provoking. I have never experienced so many emotions in a movie and have never cried so much. Hans Zimmer has created a brilliant masterpiece, the film and the music are so perfectly matched. Hans Zimmer is the master of music! ♡
Art is seen is many ways, paintings/draws, sculptures or music, a single word/speech, action or song can be so powerful it opens up the deepest part of our thoughts.
Niesamowity film tak namacalnie ukazana możliwa przyszłość. A muzyka niezapomniana oddająca tak wiele uczuć tych najważniejszych, najprostszych, najważniejszych.
No words are meant to exist to explain the beauty, the serenity, the peace, the concept, the storyline, the character, everything about this movie. I swear, this is a masterpiece and I wish that I erase my memory and get to see this movie again afresh! Murph, Coop, Brand everyone were extra ordinary!
My wife was heavily pregnant with our first baby girl. I had recently bought a ne sound system. I heard about this movie but did not really pay attention at first to what is it about apart from it being a sci-fi of course. So thought it would be cool to try out the new system with this movie... my god did it shock me and made me went through all the emotions. I was not expecting this. I would not call it a life changing experience but certainly made a deep impact on my outlook on life and expectations.
This is not about genre or sci fi. the script, the visual and the score is a plethora of excellence. Among the epics, from as far back as 1927 Metropolis,Citizen kane, Ben hur and not forgetting Nosferatu and Gone with the wind. It must be viewed a number of times to realise that those so called imperfections are actually very clever pearls.
It’s safe to say that Hans Zimmer will be remembered through times as one of the greatest composers of the XX century, and so will Nolan as one of the most talented movie producers. Interstellar is nothing short of a masterpiece: the actors, the story, the atmosphere, love and loss. All of these things and aspects are brought to such high levels that this movie simply trumps most of sci-fi films in the last 20 years. But Interstellar is mostly a character study and a drama, where you are not really sure who the main character is. Maybe it’s both Murph and Cooper, or maybe it’s none of them, since they are only pawns in someone’s greater plan to save the universe. But that doesn’t matter, because their love, that transcends trough time and space, is what captures the viewer.
I watched the movie close to two years ago, but still, just by listening to the music and reading the comments, the feelings are brought back and I dropped a tear. Great piece, I can't remember any other movie after which I felt like that.
The movie is long, but not a day goes by that I DON’T want to spend hours watching it again. It’s truly one of the best movies of my lifetime, and nothing will be capable of replacing it.
This is my favorite song from the entire soundtrack. Every one of them were awesome, but this one speaks to me. It is like saying that love is a flame of a candle and one that will never be extinguished. This song in general gave me so many emotions. Especially the one where Cooper finally meets Murph after 70+ years. This truly is a masterpiece! ☺😍
I've always been a space nerd and often thought of what it would be like if we could use interstellar space travel. Maybe one day, certainly not in my lifetime though. Not a lot of people liked this movie which is fine but I think it was because not alot of people understood it, even the critics who rated it. In my opinion, this movie had an amazing soundtrack, acting was superb, story obviously not historically or theoretically accurate but the lesson it taught me is what made me enjoy it. This song, it tied me in to the characters and brought vast amounts of emotion to the dire situation they were in, the fact that everyone is always up against time, it waits for no one and is ever constant, it is something we will always wish we had more of. Little things I noticed, the song note is paced to mirror the rhythm of a heartbeat and is represented to show that no matter how powerful or strong the mind is, the heart will always overpower, love will always find a way. Who would've thought a simple 2 note melody could affect me in such a wonderful way but it did and it remains one of my favorites to listen to despite its simplicity. For me, it reminds me that love is that light you see in an endless void of darkness, shimmering, waiting to be seized. It is the single most important and ironically, strongest part of the human condition, to feel, to hope, to love. It is the source of our greatest strength, our capacity to endure, the driving force to carry on when the mind says, "no more". To find a way, even when the odds are unquantifiably stacked against you. To remember that no matter what you face in life, you can be so much more. My belief is that, in the end when it comes to love, it's not the things we said that we recollect, it's the things that go unsaid that we always regret. One thing I tell myself everyday, even if it's a rough day, is that life is a gift, not a punishment. It is not about the moment we draw our last breath but rather, the moments that take our breath away.
I can't think of any science fiction movie being released in the future that will ever reach this one. Masterpiece and #1 science fiction movie for ever. Period!

Time is an illusion
Because time is relative to how we experience it.
Admit it, we are ageing...

this song makes me think about time.. time never waits for us.. it just keeps on going and going
Time doesn't move, everything else does. Time is the dial on which everything material moves like hands on a clock, forming and falling apart.
I think you guys are trying to sound deep... but for example, that last one made no sense at all.
+The Sarsen Society I wouldn't go so far as to say you can 'touch' time in any dimension.
Estevan Granados Time is just an illusion my friend.. It's nothing but in the same time it means everything!
I cried so much when he finally saw Murph after all those years....
Me too, I cried soooo much
Universal Narcissist The whole movie gives you very different view about time, how it works in theory.
I didn't
Good for you :3 okno
+Universal Narcissist
Interstellar fan and Last of us fan? We could be besties o_o

At my current movie life span, this is my top 5 favorite films.
1. Interstellar (2014)
2. Arrival (2016)
3. Inception (2010)
4. The Martian (2015)
5. Avatar (2009)
With that in hand, Interstellar was the most impactating movie of all time in my life due to the current situation I was in when I saw it. I do not believe anyone can top this except Christopher Nolan himself. He will probably knock out Avatar out of my top 5 just with DUNKIRK.
JuanCarlos CastilloDisla Arrival last scene.. 💖
This is one of them masterpieces that should be left as it is. No sequals and i pray that there will be no remake.
+revilO what about brand :) !
+Hamza Rehioui Some things are meant to be untold and leave it to thr imagination lol. I just can't imagine a sequel to be as good as this one.
well it all comes down to nolan. if he decides to ever release second movie, than I'm confident it'll be great.
I can guarantee you no one is going to bother making a remake or sequel to this lol
+Adolf Hitler agree, if nolan wishes to make another one he will make it even big!
Thank u Zimmer for your soundtracks...Thank u Nolan for this movie.
Agreed. Easy to take for granted that without these geniuses, we wouldn't witness such entertaining and thought provoking treasures :)
gianluca zuanazzi
Zimmer is the german word for „room“ so Hans Room is a Great Artist
Hans Room 😂
"I know you'd come back." The most touching statement I've ever heard.
Anushka Adkar The following line was more touching. :( "because my dad promised me" JUST. SOBS.
"because my dad promised"
one of the best soundtracks ever
don't forget,The fountain movie soundtrack also :-)
and time from inception
👌ur right :-)
try listening to "detach" and "murph".
those are great too
Try The last of us' OST
It's on par for this movie (at least for me)
I wish I could go back to my good old days and want to say this.
S.T.U.D...Y..
you made me cry
Why? 😓
@Ahmed D-Lwng you did great with that cover, but please, dont link your videos randomly like this it gets q little annoying
But you told, no to you but for me and the other we are a species that share knologe and you pass to me. Study if you wanna touch the stars. I say to you thank you.
This film made me love physics.
Alban Tessier me too omggg
Jup. I’m going to give everything to study astronomy even though I had an economic profile in high school
Not really because it only explores a part which is usually interesting to everyone black holes. Otherwise it depends on you interest. I find some physics shit. Dont like it. But some bits are really interesting.
Then also watch : Time Machine movie 2002 .
This film made me love what it is.
'It was me Murph, I was your Ghost' ;-(
Stop making me cry man. ;{(
*spoiler*
That moment when he sees his daughter after all that time in space, all those years gone on earth, powerful moment.
"No parent should have to watch their own child die, I have my kids here now"
Made me tear.
I watched this part more than 10 times, it is the best moment in the whole movie
Me to i had that feeling
" no parent should have to watch their own child die " 😥😥😥
It happened to my friend's parents.
But when she was 40years old in the movie she didnt had kids. When she made kids, that made kids that made more kids?? Bc there was so many ppl on her side
.yes!
Still the most powerful movie ever made in my opinion
and inception
NO DOUBT,
Inception was a great movie, Interstellar is about 10 levels above it. Life changing comes to mind.
@@waboom1999 Maybe it's another kind of powerful, but schindlers list?
WA Boom damn i’d do anything to watch the movie again without knowing the plot and the music

Emma Cassity Your message is beautiful !
Pronto todos nos reuniremos, todos volveremos a vernos padres e hijos, hijos y padres, es una promesa¡¡¡
Amen to that Emma!
a hug from a dad, hello emma
I want to have a daughter after hearing this song.
this song and movie makes me think about the univers and how lucky we r to have films and songs like this
It makes me think about education and being able to spell.
Don't let me go ...Murph !
goosebumps
Umer Fayyaz duck bumps
Murph:"nobody believe me, but I know you'll comeback"
Cooper:"How?"
Murph:"because my dad promised me"
I cried so much
For the record, it’s “Don’t let me leave, Murph”... :)
i cried :(
Impressive what 2 notes can do on brain sanity.
Impressive how someone comes up with those 2 notes no one thought of doing although they could.
There is also a constant note, it is B
One of the most mesmerising music of our time.
This song reminds me of the incomprehensible nature of the universe. Its size, its laws and its very nature. We are so small as humans, yet still so large.

Same !
This not taking the oscar for best music was propably the most hideous crime I've ever witnessed.
Nassim Sacramento it's because they couldn't handle the feels that come from this spectacular creation.
Nassim Sacramento They DONT give Oscars to masterpieces...
exactly amal. Some things are beyond awards.
It wasn't this movie's loss. It was the Oscar's loss. Because it in a way showed that Oscars don't really mean anything.
When convicted child molesters like Roman Polanski can receive an Oscar, the Oscars don't mean shit. Zimmer's work is undoubtedly above that.
Murph: *sees Cooper after years*
Cooper: *sees Murph after hours*
I get the urge to cry just by listening to this...
"but I knew you'd come back..."
"How?"

GOD I HAVE NEVER CRIED THAT HARD IN A MOVIE. Except Arrival, Arrival got me really bad too.
thørrz yep,it's so sad.
Same here...!!!
Fr? I thought this movie was great but arrival was meh. The ending was so bad. I thought so at least
Fuck don't compare this masterpiece with arrival bullshit
Also if you love how he was in this film check out 'True Detective.' Another stellar performance from him and also Woody Harrelson.
Just watch "Dallas buyers club" he's brillant
He is a wery hardworking actor, my impression about him is that he totally earned respect that people have about him...
***** He absolutely did his best in this movie. A lifetime role...

Definitely one of the greatest movies in history. And one of my most favourites.
the S.T.A.Y is one of the best soundtracks I have ever heard
It's the exact definition of the Magic Of The Sounds
(In tears) Hanz Zimmer, you brilliant sonofabitch.
Woah, you kiss your mother with that mouth? (Do you get the reference?😊)
***** Yep! 😊
DoctorpooandtheTURDIS why r u calling him son of a bitch he's done brilliant work
The best movie i have ever seen. Incredibly touching and very thought provoking. I have never experienced so many emotions in a movie and have never cried so much. Hans Zimmer has created a brilliant masterpiece, the film and the music are so perfectly matched. Hans Zimmer is the master of music! ♡
This makes me so sad, its such an emotional piece.

This movie is probably the greatest movie of all time and many people can’t comprehend it. An existential nightmare.

Certainement un des si ce n'est le meilleur film de science fiction que je n'ai jamais vu ! Tellement réaliste , tellement humain, un chef d'œuvre !!!
Hans Zimmer ad in a Hans Zimmer video, this is heaven.

This movie shows what love can actually do
I can't think of any science fiction movie being released in the future that will ever reach this one. Masterpiece and #1 science fiction movie for ever. Period!
Its 2080 and this soundtrack still makes me emotional.
Hayatımda beni bu derecede etkileyen ilk film.. müzikleri dinlerken bile tüylerim kalkıyor. 👍👍
the super smooth transition from the horrific sound to a soft pleasing sound puts 120 fps gaming to shame..
it starts from : 0:41
The soundtrack in itself is such a masterpiece, it honestly gives me chills everytime I listen to it
Hans Zimmer, such a genius!!
This music makes me remembering every scene of this movie🥺❤️
i cried in this movie a couple times
Interstellar is a masterpiece. and its soundtrack's really great!!!
this movie and its music will never get old
Nolan: Hans, I want a soundtrack that'll hit you right in the feels.
Zimmer: Say no more.
This music is beyond any awardable earthly honors
Such a beautiful and emotional melody
Murph - But i knew you'd come back.
Cooper - How?
Murph - Because my dad promised me....
One of the best movies I've seen in the last years: so deep and moving. And with a beautiful soundtrack
It's crazy how much emotions this brings. It's unbelievable. Combined with the movie, it's a masterpiece.
Just the word STAY makes me cry
This song always brokes my heart... I remember the sad scenes of this wonderful movie
Hans Zimmer is not human.
How can you better describe this kind of music than simply say... its a Hans Zimmer!

The director is distinguished by the quality of science fiction films, but among the stars is a miraculous masterpiece.
