Cyber Siege: Unmasking China's Assault on Global Networks

  • When Microsoft pointed fingers at 'state-backed' Chinese hackers infiltrating its servers, targeting a minimum of 60,000 global users, the revelation hardly came as a shock. It marked just another instance in the ongoing saga of Chinese cyberattacks. Mounting security apprehensions related to China have led to the banning or restriction of Huawei from 5G networks in several countries, including the United States, the United Kingdom, and Australia.
FBI Director James Comey asserted in 2014, 'There are two types of big companies: those that have been hacked by the Chinese, and those that don’t know they have been hacked by the Chinese.' China boasts the world's largest surveillance network, utilizing technology for minority suppression, content censorship, and dissident surveillance.
For decades, Western leaders held onto the belief that China's economic growth posed no threat to other nations. The hope was that China would confine its actions within its borders and, as the country embraced capitalism, also lean towards liberalism. Today, that optimism lies shattered. China consistently ranks as the primary source of cyberattacks.
A fierce competition is underway for global technology leadership, with 5G networks deemed crucial for future development. Few companies are as strategically positioned to spearhead the 5G revolution as Huawei. However, the looming question persists: to what extent should Huawei be perceived as a threat? We delve into perspectives from key officials in America, Europe, and China.

Jeffrey Sachs Interview - US-China Relations and Grand Strategy. Consider take 30 to 40 minutes to watch this title, to learn a bit from a Columbia university economics professor. There are commonalities for the superpowers, as opposed to the war path we're headed.
And if time allows, Austrian professor weighs in. "This is going to be different: Learning to live with Chinese Power"

After the second world war, there were only 40 countries. Today there are 200... This is basically retrospective blaming. Cos in the past, there were only .. connections and the west and east had an actual exchange. There were actual treaties. This is a video made in Europe.. and the USA also has Chinese too. The media often sells papers....to their liking. And here foreigners do this kind of dirty work basically to influence the outcome to move forward.
That is what it is about. The history pieces are often removed and hidden away.....

The Great tragedy is that this Cyber Siege would not be an issue in the West if its governments had invested well in decent modern technology instead of an over reliance on " if it aint broke dont fix it" and old shit . Another Great tragedy is certain goverments in the west kept knowledge of such technologies as State Secrets. So much so there is a lack of general knowledge about " Computing" , there history in a subject thats pretty easy to understand as a concept. ie, computers were meant to free us fae the humdrum of work " nae control us with fear and Cyber wars. Look to the digital gap, 1976 and Colossus in the UK for a start that requires too be bridged. My Grandad fought for these low level state actors and was left on a Cliff at St Valery in 1940 for 5 years as a POW. my only regret is Id never got to meet him, However Im sure he would have like to have know about these inventions before he succumbed to his injuries and committed suicide in 1968. America being America , maybe they should no have outsourced there tech hardware manufacturing to China in the 1st place
