      @Smarterthanyew 4 месяца назад

@@keifer7813 yes. There was an agreement to not expand nato yo that Russian border. It was signed. America intervened and git ukraine to renege on the deal.
There was a fascistic takeover of Ukraine in 2014. They used neo nazis to overthrow the government. In the donbas region, where everyone is culturally russian and even speaks Russian they wanted to incorporate themselves back into russia. They also objected to the coup. For this, ukraine sent military in to ethnically cleanse that population. THIS wad the final straw, the final provocation of Putin who decided to invade on behalf of the culturally russian oppressed population in the donbad region.
The west has indtiafted this because they love needling russia. This is because big enemies are NEEDED by the west. The military industrial complex generates billions of dollars and is a huge part of the economy, keeping many people wealthy. If they can vonvince everyone that russia is a huge threat, it then justifies all the spending on weaponry. Most of the weapons being given to ukraine now have been loaned...ukraine will be in huge debt to west after this. While also having to restore infrastructure. Ad the breadbasket of Europe it affects food prices in a major way. Being in thrall and debt to the countries bailing it out now is very convenient for the west.
Meabwhile putin gets to be drawn as a megalomaniac intent on ivafing europe. This is bullshit. The mainstram media does a great job of brainwashing people against people they turn into bogeymen. He had done nothing that many leaders around the world have done. And hes done far less to others than America.
Ukraine is a corrupt neonazi-led nation. Zelenski is totally untrustworthy, and people shoukd be asking where the billions given to ukraine have actually gone. He's a slick media operator, and dopey people who dont know the history have turned him into a hero. People are ao stupudly brainwashed that in the UK they were happily encouraged to take Ukrainians inti their homes. Complete strangers. It was just weird.
We are going to regret giving all this weaponry to ukraine. Look what happened to thw weapons and training provided to afghanistan to fight the russians. They became major terrorist groups. The same will happen now we've given a load of neo nazis weapons (azof battalion, have a read about them)

Yes vote to join, or go to prison if you are lucky,
The government known who vote for who and where they live, if you value you r and your family life you don't go against Putin, Did you not see the new areas Russia taken and voting with someone with a gun seeing who you are voting for, do you really think that in Russia that, almost 90% want him as leader, they are afraid to say anything, as it's against the law to say the wrong thing.

NO IT'S NOT. stop mixing things up.
Fact is a treaty was signed for NATO to not continue spreading west. Hell judge yourself first before judging others, why did usa threaten war with collumbia for wanting to sign a treaty with Russia? Why did usa and UK invade Libya and other middle East countries under the title of threat to the nation? Do you understand NATO and Russia are enemies ? Why should NATO be allowed to surround Russia and not stick to the treaty they signed about maintaining the buffer? Latvia and other surrounding nations joined and allowed it, but further expansion would 100% pose a threat. Know why
USA and nato can station themselves in those countries next to Russia making an invasion very easy.. (and you do know the west is very very good at invading countries, if you know your recent history)

"Ukraine or any other independent and sovereign state, has the right to join the NATO." - this is the main and basic argument that Western mainstream politicians use almost every day, when talking about causes of this war.
However, there are several problems with that argument.
Membership in NATO is not the same as membership in the International Postal Association, or Interpol, or UNESCO or similar organizations.
NATO is a military and political alliance. And NATO is not some naive, innocent and benign organization.
Until 1991, NATO was exclusively a defensive organization. But after the collapse of the USSR and the Warsaw Pact, NATO's behavior in international relations became much more aggressive and offensive.
NATO directly, in violation of international law and in violation of the Charter of the United Nations, participated in the aggression against Yugoslavia (1999), then for 20 years (2001-2021) it participated in the occupation of Afghanistan, then the main NATO members participated in the illegal aggression against Iraq in 2003 and the illegal bombing of Libya in 2011.
Some of these actions may have been justified, some not, but none had the approval of the United Nations.
This behavior of NATO and its main members did not go unnoticed.
Is there a guarantee for Russia that tomorrow if Ukraine becomes a member of NATO, NATO will not use Ukraine as a springboard for actions against Russia.
Perhaps not a direct invasion, but the deployment of modern and sophisticated long-range missile systems in eastern Ukraine could fundamentally threaten Russia's nuclear doctrine and national security. In this way, NATO can place Russia in the geopolitical checkmate.
There is no guarantee for Russia that something like this will not happen if Ukraine joins NATO.
"All the countries that joined NATO joined voluntarily" - this is fundamentally wrong.
And I will give 4 examples.
1st. Montenegro, a small country in the Balkans, joined NATO in 2017. Before the presidential elections, the then president of Montenegro Filip Vujanovic promised the citizens that they would have the opportunity to express their opinion in the referendum on potential entry into NATO. However, after coming to power, he decided to change his attitude and decided to introduce the country into NATO without a referendum, even though at that moment all polls showed that the majority of citizens were against joining NATO. But regardless, he brought the country into NATO.
2nd. North Macedonia, also a small country in the Balkans, which had a dispute with Greece over the country's official name.
Changing the name was the main condition for the country's entry into NATO.
In order to resolve that dispute, a referendum was held in 2018, where less than 35% of citizens turned out to vote and the referendum failed. The vast majority of citizens were against changing the name of the country and therefore boycotted the referendum. However, violating the will of the people, the then Prime Minister Zoran Zaev decided to change the name of the country and to bring the country into the NATO.
The 3rd and 4th examples are Slovakia and Bulgaria.
Both countries became NATO members without a referendum and at a time when the obvious majority of the citizens of those countries were against membership in the NATO pact.
    To conclude.
The idea that the expansion of the NATO pact to the countries of Eastern Europe was completely democratic and legitimate is ridiculous. Washington used the corrupt and kleptocratic political elites in some of those countries to force them to join the NATO pact, regardless of what the majority of the people thought about it.
