When I was younger I was convicted in my spirit about Facebook, and watching TV and I've deleted my account and I dnt have a TV anymore, I'm not distracted by these things anymore and if I need to watch anything it would be Christian movies and other Christian content. We need to take care of what our eyes are looking at and what we are hearing. Besides it's a very good thing to spend more time with God's Word and spending quality time with your loved ones. God delivered me from the gay lifestyle, porn, alcohol, drugs and cigarettes 11 years ago. Only the power of the Holy Spirit can brake off habitual sins. You must be totally surrendered and spending daily time with the Lord in reading the Word and worship.

God delivered me from homosexuality and from living my life as a transgendered woman. I was also an alcoholic. It’s only been a year for me so occasionally I have thoughts that aren’t the best, and I have to repent and go to God. But I’m trying to get to that point where I no longer have any thoughts about my past.... or any people that I may see that could cause a form of lustful thought or temptation. A month ago I was stuck in a habitual sin, and after watching your "Overcoming Lust and Sexual Sin" series, reading my Bible, and confessing to a friend, God has helped me to no longer succumb to sexual sin. I'm praying for you, I had the same problem. Fasting and prayer broke me from that addiction and sin. Always pray before you eat also. Putting God first in everything you do. Praying for your success and remember Jesus wants you to succeed and come home. (◍•ᴗ•◍)❤

@@davidbishay3110 Sorry I meant to tell you, after you get baptized under water (maybe in your own tub, pool, church) by a Jesus led repented righteous born again minister with Christian witnesses, ask Jesus to fill you with the Holy Ghost to give you power, spiritual gifts, and the evidence with speaking in other tongues. It may take some days later to speak in other tongues.
We suppose to associate with equally yoked Born Again Christians not lukewarm Christians or Unbelievers too. You need to ask Jesus Christ to send God fearing on fire for God born again Christians in your life.
We must stay or get focus on 'The Word' because the Bible is fulfilling itself.

I go through phases. I get bored with anything after a while. Even sin.
Try talking with God everyday, you don't even have to kneel just talk like you would a friend. That makes it easier and remember friends can have arguments but they still come back together and it's ok to have questions just ask them during your talks with God.

You are in my prayers for deliverance. I have went back to my sin multiple times this year. I feel the shame of it after I sober up. I keep promising this is the last time and a couple months later I fall into temptation. I am fasting now on water alone and taking it to God. We cannot do this on our own.

I've been able to avoid my repetitive sins ever since I became a true Christian. I tried so many times to avoid it on my own but nothing work yet when I turned to God, I was freed of my sins. curtis lee I think this is meant to encourage the ones who care but struggle at times. Everyone is at a different place on their faith journey so some need this more than others. No one is meant to fall away or turn from God as He wants all to repent and for none to perish. I truly know how some can feel as you first come to Christ there is an almost naive way of thinking that oh now God loves me and I am going to be perfect as I’ve accepted Christ now. Sometimes it’s harder to forgive yourself after you’ve came to Christ and known the wrong but did it anyway than it was when you first came to Him. As Joe said there is a lot of negativity in the world and RUclips so with that I truly appreciate you Joe and what you do to encourage the saints and to witness for Jesus. This has motivated me to just keep walking, I'm 16 and was thinking of walking away from the Christian faith because I don't live like a Christian. I feel no remorse or guilt when I sin. I'm living in sin, and I hate it. I'm double minded, lukewarm, and I love this world too much, I'm struggling to let go. I can't tell if Jesus Christ hears my double minded, lukewarm, prayers, I'm struggling with repenting from my sins. I hope people who are struggling take one step at a time to get right with God. But, sis, just to let you know, I think I can speak for everyone, that there are some things that we wrestle with, that we hate, and we pray constantly that God would rid us of those things. You're not alone. I'm not saying that it makes it okay; however, I'm saying that it's the nature of our fight against sin. Nevertheless, keep on going and never keep fighting. Jesus came for people like you (and I'm a sinner like the rest of mankind). You're never too far beyond God's reach of mercy. You wouldn't be feeling that way if God wasn't trying to draw you near. You're not alone. The Lord has been restoring my for the past 4 years. 4 years and I'm still not fully restored BUT I'm on my way to full deliverance. It has NOT been easy and the man is right, the way of a sinner IS hard, but thank God for His mercy. Never stop asking the Lord to deliver you from that sin. And remember, if we could break our own sins Jesus wouldn't have had to die on the cross. Keep praying, keep believing, keep asking, keep crying out to the Lord, keep taking in the His word. Whosoever shall call upon the Lord shall be delivered.

Yeah, we all need breaks, for real. I think too many Christians spend too much time on social media, RUclips, etc., while their prayer lives are declining. Nothing should come in the way of our personal time with the Lord.

We need to realize how undone we are outside of the righteousness of Christ. I tend to overlook my “small” sins, because they aren’t as heinous as my big sins. But as soon as I do that, I am walking outside of the covering of Christ, and fall back into my old ways, the “big” sins. ALL sin is evil, we must stay humble and dependent on Christ alone, not our performance. Then we have communion with the Lord, and walk in the LIGHT. Thank you Brother for another video of hope....

You know what Joe? When I recently got hit by the head so badly (blessedly) by the Lord for all my sins and wanders and lukewarmness and repented I was almost off my phone. Because I just couldn't! I naturally had no Interest in scrolling through Instagram and all I wanted is fasting, reading my old fashioned Hungarian protestant Bible, talk with God and ohh I cried! Cried and cried and cried and asked the Lord and digged deep into my heart and soul and bagged for forgiveness. I did not care about the mainstream nor had desire for the world anymore. Social media is a good tool when it's done right. But its a thin line to cross to the other side and is to be an envy slave to it.

I struggle with this every day i watch far more videos than i spend time in God's word. But i need to spend far more time in God's word than watching youtube. Pray for me and everyone else who needs to draw closer to God.
I LOVE this message my brother. So many backsliders NEED this message. I was a terrible backslider for years.... always kept him....never left the truth.... but I was completely ensnared in sin.
It ended up after 6 years (or more even maybe sexual sin, anger, jealousy etc)
I ended up losing all the great things I had. I lost blessing, money....kids were kept from me through the system... I kept trudging onward, not even contemplating the chastising that started slowly when I first fell... and picked up steam as I continued in a sinful lifestyle. I was right back where Jesus found me the first time, hard to admit but it’s true, even after an amazing and real spiritual transaction the first time I came to him.
I still stepped way off the path. Good news is ...it’s only one step to go back :)
Well... I’m so happy to say this year about 6 months ago, I had a frightening experience, something gripped my soul and felt I was going to die, it wanted my soul... I burned cold inside.... it was terrifying. I knew it was the devil wanting to take me... I ran to my room and cried out for Jesus to save me (after many times of asking him to get me out of a jam, i never went back so he scared me) well, in his great mercy he forgave me, right then and there....the evil let go of my soul, he completely renewed my spirit, my soul. I was instantly saved yet again. This is the goodness and mercy of your Lord Jesus Christ. Run to him please.
Since then I’ve completely submitted my life to him. I quit smoking cigarettes... weed, no booze, no lusting. Of course the enemy tries to tempt but because I am immersed in the word because of his Holy Spirit that I am able to fight the evil off now.
All those things I lost, the years, the injustice, hurt, pain, money.... ALL of it was his blessing. I count it all as a blessing because he saved me yet again. Lord Jesus I am a sinner... but you are greater. Thank you for loving me. I will forever proclaim your goodness because of the true and Holy God you are.
One more thing... many have accepted Jesus as their saviour... but they haven’t accepted him as LORD over their lives... the enemy promises so much fleshly fun in sin... it’s empty, it’s dead... and so are you, while in it.
Submit to Jesus and he will give you a knew heart, mind, soul... one that longs for things of God. This world is dying, the things in it... dying... the eternal truth is we do not belong here. I am so at peace now because of Jesus rescuing me yet again. Please call out to him.

My relationship with God has been rocky from the very beginning. Through pain and failure He has been able to help me grow and change in ways that I could never imagine. I’m 15 turning 16 in a few weeks, and what I can say is I AM NOT THE SAME. You never realize change has happened until you sit down and take a break. I know I’m not perfect, but in my heart I feel like this year is a different year and the change that we all yearn for in our lives will finally happen.
I’ve been sad this whole day and I called on to Jesus to give me joy and took lots of prayer and tears but I finally my joy

You wouldn't believe it, but I am on a digital detox myself, for one week, from WhatsApp, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. I haven't gone off RUclips, as I use that to relax by listening to some sermons and also some puppy videos. But, I used WhatsApp, Facebook, and Twitter a lot. Taking time off it has been suuuchhh a great blessing! Praise Jesus!

At one point in my life being a little skeptic about His existence 8 years ago was only for a few months. On that same year was when I became a Christian who wants go know about Jesus and His love for us all. It all truly makes sense how everything came into place reading the bible & how every creations has an awesome Creator God. May God continue to bless, protect, use you all for His glory.
I love you Joe. I've felt like I've known the Truth my whole life. Bur I have lived in sin. I've fornicateted, taken drugs, been driven, lied, stole , cheated and all the rest. I confess I still do many sins now. Your channel helps me to remember and come back, try to find... more recently I've been asking Jesus to help.. I feel like he hears but I ignore or can't quite find the strength to hear let alone follow. I just know, know that I am a sinner. Please God save me. I hate my actions and behaviour almost all the time. When I have Jesus in my mind it's sometimes easier but sometimes I feel my propensity to zealous hypocrisy, I have no foundation to preach yet I feel the urge. I pray for the courage to truly accept Jesus as my saviour, in my Heart of Hearts, aswell as my mind
Got rid off Facebook 30 days ago. It was the best decision I've made and all for His glory. I am able to focus on Him.

Hi Joe, my names Dylan. I’m 19 and I’m from South Africa. I love your videos, I watch them Almost everyday for motivation and teaching. After watching this video I did read the Bible for a while Joe, then I got tired and wanted to sleep so I closed my eyes, then in my mind I reflected on all the bad I did this year and the tough times I went through and I realised how much stronger and wiser they’ve made me. I realised how through this difficult year God has been taking me through everything for a reason. So I got on my knees and started praying and thanking God for everything. And the funny thing is, is what started off as just a quick prayer turned into like a 40 minute conversation about everything and anything I wanted to speak about... I realised that just like how I get angry for my dog when pee’s on the furniture God gets angry or disappointed when we do things that goes against what his word says. And just like when my dog pee’s on the furniture sometimes I give him a gentle spanking or scolding so that he knows what he done is wrong, but I never stop loving him no matter what he does. Later when he see’s me he always looks so sorry and disappointed because of what he’s done and I can see that he things I don’t love him anymore. I only reprimand him because I want to teach him that what he’s doing is wrong and so that he will never have to receive reprimanding from me or my parents again.I feel like it’s the same with God and us. We feel so bad when we sin and we feel like we need to hide away or get depressed because he no longer lives us. I feel like just like with my dog, GOD NEVER EVER EVER STOPS LOVING US, so we should just repent, learn from our mistakes and run back into his arms.
I just finished my 30 day fast from social media (Facebook, Snapchat, and RUclips) and it has helped me tremendously. It showed me that I don’t need it and it got my head out of my phone and made me able to realign my full focus on Jesus and 30 days ago I watched this video and started my fast and it was a blessing and I recommend it to any Christian to do. Extremely spiritually and Mentally healthy
This message has helped me enormously and so I started with "5 minutes" today in my bible. I have been crying out to God, "You seem like a million miles away" and think it to myself how much I miss Him.

I used to always compare myself to others, looking at what they've done compared to what i've done and feeling like a failure. But, the scriptures have an answer for every problem we have, and i think of this scripture for that - 2 Corin. ch 10 v 12.

Thank you for speaking so honestly about your sins I too suffered with this...... but since watching I've been back into deep in His word and recieved assurance that the Holy spirit dwells within me. Giving me visions meeting Jesus, exploding with all His created emotions at finally being able to "touch" my saviour. I'm a back sliding Christian. Because of your msg and obviously the Holy spirit I'm fighting the temptation, and so far have not returned to that shameful sin.
