Love your studio. I too am organized and clean I feel like you honor the studio when you keep it up. Your studio I could see having a cup of tea and just watching you work all day. Thank you for showing us your studio.
You've got me completely! My mum comes and sends a day with me, sat at my slab roller with a cup of tea just watching! I do feel like I respect my studio more when it's so clean and organised. You hit the nail right on the head! Thankyou
I’ve SO enjoyed seeing your studio! The cleanest I’ve ever seen! Love it! You are inspiring us with how to use space and be tidy. Thank you for taking the time to show us all this. ❤
You are the Queen of organising, but it is essential when one is dealing with a smaller space. I am guessing the behemoth slab roller came in bits, otherwise it would have been a mission to get it up the stairs. I am so glad I asked your advice on the wheel, I love it. Kay x
Lol, don't know about the Queen of organising, but I am a little obsessed! Lol yes the slab roller came in pieces and we built it, but the stairs have been a challenge bringing big items in. Takes a lot of too'ing and fro'ing, and breathing in! The kiln had to be separated from the frame to get in too. Super pleased your happy with the wheel choice. I love mine, the power, the quietness, well everything about it lol
Excellent use of your space!!! (But you already knew that!) As organized as you were with your glaze tests, I had no doubt. You really managed to find ways to store a lot of supplies. Great video. Thanks for sharing.
My gosh Jeanette!! I knew of course that your studio would be really organized but wow! You have literally used every dang spot for storage but the ceiling!! I loved seeing things your dad and son made you! My dad made things for me as well as my children and I cherish them. I am absolutely going to use your idea of hiding things behind curtains and boards!! What a fantastic idea. Thank you so much for sharing your space with us. It’s just perfect! I have different areas that I use for specific things rather than one studio and they aren’t anywhere near this organized but you gave me so many great ideas!! The pegboard! How did I not think of that! And I have one ready to go in a frame that my dad made me! So excited to get that loaded up and organized. Thanks again.
Lol thanks Michele. Now why didn't I look to the ceiling and found a way to maximise that space too! 😂 It's forever evolving as I have new equipment or supplies but even I was surprised when editing this footage how much I'd managed to get into this space. 🤣 What am I going to do when there is no more wall space!!!! Lol
@@FarForestCeramics You may have to use a different are to store things you don’t use very often but I am the exact same way you are, out of site out of mind. I have to use clear containers for everything. I can not wait to get some plastic sheeting to cover my unsightly messes underneath my work benches! It will make it look soo much nicer.
Glad it was helpful! It's evolving all the time as I need to find a home for something new, or I spot an opportunity for a new space saving idea. Was interesting to me to think back to all the tweaks and chances I've made over the last two years too 🙂
@FarForestCeramics It's a creative space and therefore needs to always be revolving/resolving. Thanks again for sharing. I have a studio tour on my channel too. This year, we're finishing my clay shed. 😀
What a wonderful studio you have Jeanette absolutely love it. So many great storage ideas too, I may have to borrow one or two😅 thankyou so much for thr guided tour I really enjoyed it❤❤
Of course your studio would be amazing. My studio is much larger and nowhere near as functional or lovely. I'm sending a link to this video to my studio partner and we are going to get to work. What an inspiration. Thank you for sharing so much.
Lol, such kind words thank you. You have made me 😃 smile. I just don't know what I'm going to do when I run out of space lol. There was so much more I could have shared but I felt that was more than enough and you guys would be bored lol. So glad you found element helpful.
Good idea, I did try it but with the size of the ware boards it actually felt more unstable with three surprisingly. Especially when the board was completely full, if that makes sense.
Thankyou. Perspective on videos can be so different to reality can't it. I love my space, but wondering what I'm going to do when I run out of wall space lol
I love the test tiles on your glaze bottles. Did you bend them to have the same curvature as the bottle? You attached them with those plastic tie wraps?
Hi Ann, yes when I make them I set them on the glaze tubs to adapt to the curve of the bottle or pot, makes them fit to the pots easier. I attach using floristry ribbon and sellotape. I've got reels on my Instagram showing how I make the tiles, set them and attach to the pots. I think they look cute as well as being uber practical lol

So pleased you enjoyed and found it inspiring. Definitely not the easiest to film but best I could do lol
You utilized every bit of space! Wonderful ideas and inspiration. Thank you for giving us a tour of
your creative space. 😊
You're welcome. I love my space, my haven, my happy place. I'm running out of wall space so need to keep being inventive lol
Lovely studio.
Thankyou. I feel very lucky to have this space, its like my grown up playground lol
Very clever drying system!! I’m definitely going to steal the idea! Thanks.
Thankyou, Glad it was helpful! 🙂

Thanks so much. Maximising the space means I can expand my equipment or supplies lol so maybe that helps me keep the focus on efficient storage 😂
Wonderful space. Thanks for the tour!
You're welcome. Was not the easiest to film, felt like I was going round in small circles lol

Brilliant! I loved seeing your space. Such great tips for maximizing small spaces. Now I feel the need to clean my studio and organize again. 😂

Thanks Julia, can't believe how much I've crammed in there over the last 3 years LOL

Definitely my happy place for sure 🙂
Oh my gosh amazing!
Glad you liked it, it my 'special place' where I truly am in my happy zone lol
23:00 I do the same. But with 3 posts so that it is more stable (just like loading a kiln). Actually, often I use just kiln stilts 😊

Wow!!! Such a wonderful space On the videos the space looks so much bigger but that's down to your great organisation skills. Very inspirational ❤❤
