Thank you, you just save me money on purchase new gyro. After I watched your post went back to my Blade 450X reverse tail blade holders and the spin problem is gone and i thought it was gyro. Thank you again. I shared this video on my rchelifonubs FB page.
Nice job WC! I'm at work right now but I'll double check what position the blade grips are in on the 450 3D when I get home in the morning. I'm pretty certain that I have the linkage on the leading edge side.
That's quite true! I have a new digital metal gear servo ordered. Hopefully that's the problem but I will still check the orientation of the tail blade grips when I get home.
wc wickedcopters inc Ok, just got home from work and I checked the tail on the Blade 450 3D. I do have the pitch linkages on the leading edge side....just as the manual suggests. I was pretty sure that I had it right. Now I guess I just need to wait for the new servo to arrive and try things out. I sure hope it works. I'd really like to be able to ship this helicopter back to my friend so that he can get back to flying.
arr the old "grip flip mod" if i remember correctly it will work ether way however you need to reverse travel & gyro comp if you want to fly with them "fliped" in any case shes up and looking solid :)
I was thinking that but it just keep spending so I guess that's the next but what brand of gyro would you recommend I purchase that's better than the standard factory gyro

your problem could have been your servo going bad
