[Vietnam] Ambulances vs. Traffic MADNESS!!

- Captured here are a variety of ambulance vans, with all sorts of lights and sirens, in Ho Chi Minh City, (also known as Saigon) Vietnam. In this giant Southeast-Asian metropolis, there are many different ambulance service providers, both state-run and private, taking people to hospitals, often with very questionable standards and vehicles. At the same time, Ho Chi Minh City's infamously crazy traffic rarely leaves much room for emergency services to pass through, and so these ambulances literally have to fight their way through the seas of motorbikes!
Let me know what you think of these vehicles in the comments!

As always, your Vietnam videos never fail to impress! Lol
3:00 nice double catch there, but damn what a perfect demonstration of what NOT to do when responding with another unit lol
7:10 another double catch.
Ho Chi Emrgency Vehicles Needs All Pushbar, All 2 Spotlights, All Rumblers, All More Lights, All Train Horns, & All Martinshorns.
I think we just need louder sirens, rumblers, more & brighter lights and that's all. The train horns are so crazy😂😂😂
Exactly😅
Some Federal Q class Sirens would also help clear the lane ahead. Do Vietnamese drivers receive training on pulling to the right to get out of the way? 🤔
Ho Chi Minh City
What Ho Chi ?
Nice video! Love those ambulances
Thank you! :)
0:50 weird sirens and lights pattern🤣🤣🤣🤣
*weew! weew! weew! weew! weew!*
Ah, the Toyota Hiace.
A third world favorite. I would almost call it the Japanese Transit.
You do know Toyota's are the primary ambulances in Japan right? Not just developing countries use them. Obviously they're built and fitted up to much more advance specs here compared to the ones seen in the video, which most of them are literally just a delivery van with lights and sirens fitted on just solely for transport.
But also proves Toyota's can make affordable, lasting vehicles compared to their American and Korean counterparts.
I do have a lot of respect for Toyota. They make affordable and reliable high quality vehicles.
Smaller ambulance vans like the ones seen in this video are actually predominant in many countries around the world. They are often the most suitable vehicles for the requirements, including smaller streets, dense traffic, and less equipment/ treatment inside the vehicles.
@@TGGGlobalEmergencyResponses same here. My first car was a Toyota.
@@mlps93 yea i know, which is why i think of it as a Japanese Transit.
@@RandomTrinidadian What Toyota model you first owned?
All those driving the vehicles and on motorcycles would be so very dismayed if the ambulance trying to get through would not be in time to save the life of one of their friends, or worst one of a family member!!!
Yes, but unfortunately people rarely look at it this way. They only think about themselves.
I fail to understand why the sirens are so very quiet.
Probably like of funds
Sometimes it’s the quality of the products and also the fact that they can have volume controls. However, the sirens are also drowned out by the traffic noise in the city.
@@TGGGlobalEmergencyResponses The factor of quality is obvious, hardly ever you see known brands in those countries.
Yes, most of the lights and sirens are either Chinese, Korean, or Japanese made. Sometimes there are American and European products in the mix as well. Although the standard and quality is not consistent it does make things very interesting for me as an emergency vehicle spotter, because I never know what I might see next! 😄
Xe cứu thương đi làm nhiệm vụ❤❤.
Would you come to Indonesia someday? Mostly ambulances respond.
Ambulances: exist
People: *We don’t do that here*
Literally happens everywhere tbh.
Ambulance? We dont care. They're just paramedics. - Literally every idiot who blocks the ones who save their lives.
Ambulance with a police (or some other vehicle) escort? Shit we gotta move
To be honest, ambulance services in Vietnam should invest in cycle units like NSW Ambulance have done in the CBD. That way, a rapid response paramedic could reach the patient and stabilise them first while they wait for the transport vehicle to arrive
Nice Video Can You Do Indonesian Emergency Vehicle Respond?
I think this video before Covid-19
Can you do Ambulance responses in Philippines
Sure, once I have a chance to travel to the Philippines again 🙂
@@TGGGlobalEmergencyResponses I recommend to go to davao city also they have 911 emergency service for the whole city which also a world class service (its also a government funded system)
