That's fine, but there are plenty of US establishments where a 16" pizza would be considered a "medium". For instance, in most pizzarias/restaurants found around the greater NYC area, a "large" typically starts at 20".

How do you pick up a large slice? You take the hand holding the crust, and push down the middle to form the crust edge into a V (or fold all the way flat together, if need be). This provides structural integrity to the bottom of the slice, allowing it to stand out farther from the crust toward the point. If the point is still too floppy to guide into your mouth, take the other hand and hold up the tip until you can bite down on it.
Not only is food served in larger portions in a fast food place. But in sit down places as well. For example I can got into a local restaurant and order a dinner and walk out with enough food for a least the next day or longer.

Favorite pizza from dominos? Deep dish with pepperoni, jalapeño, parmesan and asiago cheese for toppings and cooked “well done” so the cheese on top is browned a little 🤤
trust me, the 16in pizza slices from a dominos pizza really arent that large. you go to a good pizza place in new york (or boston which is where im near, the place im thinking of has slices that come close to the size of your face.) you can get some large slices of pizza. mostly cause pizza isnt always something you order an entire pizza, some times you just want a slice or 2 for a quick meal and dont need a whole pizza.
Could the drink size discrepancies be caused by ice? I know our cups in the US are mostly ice, not sure how it works in the UK. And yes Millie that bottom was definitely yellow.

Any size drink is a dollar Mcdonald's in the U.S. as well..
As a former subway employee of the US, I need to mention that you can actually get a 4-in sub called a kids sub, and a 6 foot sub for events 😅 the 6ft ones are nuts and have to be ordered at LEAST a day ahead of time usually.
On the pizza sizes... If you're ever in and around Atlanta, Georgia, there is a popular chain called Peace, Love, & Pizza that makes an 18-inch size called "Monster" size. You will NOT regret trying their most popular pizzas.
4 subs cut into 16 is not more than 5 subs cut into 15, it is still smaller by 1 sub., the number of cuts means nothing.
I think a cost comparison should also be included, then I think you'd see some really startling differences.
Great Video as always!
love you guys keep up the great work!
Hawaiian slice AKA ham and pineapple. YES!!
Ham and pineapple are my favorite too but is there a bad pizza. I haven't found one yet.
Where I live we have a small chain pizza shop that has a 28 inch pizza.
We get free drink refills in the US also. We also like our drinks with ice.
Hope you are both feeling better, just take it easy, and recuperate. Love the videos
I love BBQ pizza as well! It usually has chicken, bacon, and onions on it where I’m from (Midwest)
Favorite pizza from dominos? Deep dish with pepperoni, jalapeño, parmesan and asiago cheese for toppings and cooked “well done” so the cheese on top is browned a little 🤤
You guys are awesome. Keep up the great job.
For Starbucks, the cups are for example 16 oz cups. Unless filled to overflowing, the liquid is less than 16 oz.
For that to be accurate you really do need to "Remove" the ICE from the drinks to find out what your really getting!
Just order "no ice".
Always get a half and half. One side pepperoni and other side ham and pineapple with extra cheese. Then eat it alternating between the two sides.
Favorite domino's pizza is thin crust with extra cheese, pepperonis, onions, banana peppers and sometimes bacon
trust me, the 16in pizza slices from a dominos pizza really arent that large. you go to a good pizza place in new york (or boston which is where im near, the place im thinking of has slices that come close to the size of your face.) you can get some large slices of pizza. mostly cause pizza isnt always something you order an entire pizza, some times you just want a slice or 2 for a quick meal and dont need a whole pizza.
i wish they mentioned prices as well because we pay ridiculous amounts for everything. like a small meal (soda fries burger) at bk is like 8$+ tax
Her face when she realized somewhere in the world there was more popcorn chicken was pretty solid haha
Our family favorite pizza at Domino's is, pan crust with alfredo sauce, philly steak, & mushrooms.
Extra ham and extra pineapple on pizza is my go to I also like thin crust with pepperoni and bacon
Could the drink size discrepancies be caused by ice? I know our cups in the US are mostly ice, not sure how it works in the UK. And yes Millie that bottom was definitely yellow.
No, not really. Because in the US you can simply say "easy on the ice" or no ice. But then again possibly just so you can hold a bit more ice as an option. Plus in the US we get free refills. In the UK you have to buy it over and over again.
There is a 4-in sub in the United States it's not listed on the menu and it's considered part of the children's menu
You can get a UK small drink when you order a value menu size or a happy meal kid's small
My name is Jeff and I watch many of your videos all the time. I wish, you a very good trip, when you come
to the United States. We eat all kinds of food here. We love all types of food.
* at 6:37 on the left of the comparisons is what it started out as
Love these food war videos.
Not sure when this video was made, but last time I had McDonalds nuggets was about 15 years ago and the 40-piece came in a giant bucket. My neighbor would always order them for me and some of the other kids to share while we visited her house (she had a huge VHS collection she'd let us borrow from).
My husband's favorite Domino's pizza is a hand tossed crust with ham, pineapple, and black olives. My favorite pizza is a thin crust with pepperoni, onions, and green peppers. My oldest son's favorite is a hand tossed philly steak, pineapple, and jalapenos. When I was younger, I used to work at Domino's pizza. Our large back then was 16", then it changed to 14".
btw don't feel too bad because this is why we Americans have a bit of a weight problem.
